Morning - llamahead, I don't need to write any sort of comment when applying for a shop, but I think "I need the cash" is spot on !!

taxi - I have to go back at the weekend to sort out my shoes, so will hopefully know more then.

No scratchcards done just yet - maintenance.....must remember to do them later.

Shaun so sorry that you are ill, though you did give me a giggle at the idea of a spreadsheet to know when to take your meds.

Hypno - really sorry to hear that you still have problems with your feet. My mum used to bathe hers in white spirit i think it was to harden them up.....

mooloo - I take it that you have young adults with you? Sounds like you need to start charging rent....

sorry to hear of others who have health problems. I often remember in the stressed days that at least I am coming out of my illness. And that has got to be a plus.

Third-ing all the dodgy hugs to everyone .... I feel very lucky in a lot of ways, that I don't have anything serious wrong with me - in spite of the way I moan. Shaun's spreadsheet - oh yeah, I remember my mum writing out the list of what medication to take when - for both her and my dad, we had to laugh about it. I found a pill box divided into days, and bought it for her - she couldn't use it, it wasn't big enough! Says it all, really.

I remember white spirit on feet too - I wonder if thats still recommended? Simple remedies can be the best ...

I've been doing the surgical spirit stuff for a while now, hopefully it will soon have an effect.

Morning - I can remember doing the Surgical Spirit stuff on blisters - it does work !

I don't need a spreadsheet for medicines thank goodness although I do have to take medication every day. Have now got to start keeping a voice diary for speech Therapist - interesting !

Hope everyone starts to feel better soon - i'm just writing my list of things I need to do. Am going out for meal tonight with DH - DD is at her BF's so we are going to use the voucher we had as a Christmas pressie from BIL.

Having a day off today, got holidays to use up (this new job gets better!) had all good intentions of busy day but DS and I only just woke up!!

feeling a bit better this am,hospital caused pains have eased and ribs are not as tender..
so medication starting to work,oxygen and energy levels should be close to normal by sunday.slowly slowly!!!

Child-proof locks first came out when I was a kid. I was the only one in the house that could open them...

Hypno - congrats on the grants for the minis - what a relief for you to know they have funding! & glad to hear you are keeping off those feet and letting them heal!

Shawn - :eek: spreadsheet:eek: for your meds!!! -- i can barely remeber to take one tablet a day before dinner & curse the doctor everytime for making me take it!!!

thought the good fairy had surfaced in my life...
was wracking my brains trying to figure out what it was, until OH reminded me of the last minute on-line tax return I'd done a few weeks ago!
Guess I'll have to face the looming budget for 2009 this weekend & get on top of the finances!
