Brrrr....just walked down to the supermarket to get some bits - including some reduced stuff for the freezer, which was ok. It is snowing though, and bitterly cold, so I am glad to be back indoors!
surfbabe, I am glad you and your mum are both feeling brighter.....as for the cost of kids, well, I know that one well!
I have pledged to note my spending for February to see where I am going wrong so today:
80p coffee at the ski club
£23.32 supermarket shopping including some things for the freezerSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Time to start taking a flask of coffee to the ski club with you - that would save 80p a time and those 80 pences will soon add up to another square coloured in!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

It usually involves getting the weekly food shop by walking a couple of miles to Canary Wharf and shopping until my rucksack is full and two carrier bags are full!
But I did it on Friday night so now I'm stuck for things to do!
Walshy_walshy is my user name on DooYoo! It's going to take a lot of effort for the next couple of months to get up to cash payouts level but i'll pretend I'm Hypno! Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -

Oh I do that too - but I am there for so many hours (8 yesterday, for example) that sometimes I run out and need to buy one!
Walshy, I think I have rated you.......! I am almost up to my next payout level.....once my miles are validated I will be able to ask for another £50 cheque :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. I feel as though I have achieved nothing today - 3 dooyoo reviews, a morning hanging about at the ski club, and a walk to the shop for some bits and pieces of shopping......
and after all that effort  I am shattered. I have to be up at 5 in the morning because OH has to go into work early, and he is even more tired than I am because of the silly hours he has been working too and has slept through phones ringing etc recently, so cannot rely on his own alarm.....so I will set my alarm and make sure that he actually gets as far as the car!
Hope you have all had a good weekend xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I am really tired as well.
Think its partly the time of year.
All I have done is make soup so you are not alone in feeling you havent achieved much.
