Probably a combination of all of the above......ah well, c'est la vie! Serves me right for applying I suppose.....I might have been better off not doing so, then I can't get narked at the whole thing!

Am back at the ski club for phase two of the running around effort......one dooyoo review written......and that's about it! What an exciting life I lead - Saturday night and this is the best I can do :o

I still think you should write to them & ask them to look at the application again. Will only cost you some time & a stamp.
I have done this in the past & it has worked for me :)

Oooh, I don't know beanie......to be honest I don't really want to get annoyed at another rejection.

My original plan was to use the high interest rates as an incentive to get rid of them quicker......so perhaps it is just the way of the great Money-god out there of saying that is the way I should continue!

One day, though, these people will be clamouring over themselves to lend me money, and I will take great delight in saying a big fat NO to them.......

Absolutely - with your drive and determination, you'll be a millionaire some day soon. They really will be running to your door, and we just *know* you'll be the one in control.

OK, so coffee consumed, and another made, and I can start to function.....

Today is February - that means that January is behind us - we are well and truly into 2009, and another month closer to being debt free (except in my situation where I booked a holiday that puts my DFD back by a month :o ).....

Snowdrops are making an appearance, so despite the fact that it is bloomin cold out there, there are signs that spring is on its way.

My aims for this month, therefore are:
    • keep in control of my spending - noting down what I spend and whether it is necessary.
    • stay blister-free (and free of any other injuries) and increase my running milage according to my Marathon training plan.
    • work towards next payout on dooyoo
    • Have a complete financial audit
Only a short list - it is a short month, afterall!

  • Hypno, I think all you runners are very brave. Have you ever seen that episode of Friends when Phoebe and Rachel go running ? Well thats me....
I insist you have a day off from running, just to make sure those feet are healed.

Ooh, I like audits - I do a monthly one, sort out where the money is, because with all the little schemes on the go it can vary quite wildly, and it wasn't bad at all. Hope yours works out well.

DC, I will definitely not be running - I was a bit of a fool to think I could do so. I am just too phlegmmy and tired!

One dooyoo review done, and scratchcards scratched (although nothing more than 10p there).......

It is a bit frustrating because it is the 1st of the month, but because it is a Sunday, the monthly debt payments won't go out until tomorrow! I might cheat a bit and update my snowball according to the payments that would have gone out today, had it not been a weekend! I think we can allow a little manipulation from time to time.........:o That way I can colour in squares too......always a fab feeling!
