gah, I hate being ill

In moneysaving news I had a scary gas/electric bill - £525 for the quarter  Thankfully we were in credit at the end of the last quarter, so have got through this one with a credit of £5, so no money to find......but thank goodness that we were a) in credit before and b) paying by monthly DD, because if I had opened a bill of that size and then had to find the money for it, I would have probably cried!!

  • Ours wasn't so bad... I'm lucky, my house mates pay the bills, I pay the Sky and pay for me and OH's food!

He's on a higher wage than me so I let him!

    Morning guys....

slept like a log last night, but the alarm still goes off for the kids to ski, so no chance of a lay in........I need to do a fair bit of running around today too so that curtails any resting plans I may have had. OH is working, thankfully (three extra shifts this weekend = extra cash) so he can't help out with the general "stuff" that needs doing.

Hope you are all well, and lurgy free!
