Suppose I better think about packing-and pre-departure house tidying-I've switched from my usual airline so will make for an interesting flight-no seatback video on the long flight-not that I usually watch it anyway but the plus is flying from Gatwick which is a heck of a lot easier for me than Heathrow and won't need to leave til 7am instead of 4am :) Delta have matched my airline status too-so reasonable chance of upgrading on the diddy flights (which from an MSE viewpoint means free food and drink :) )-hotel is free (yay) so not a bad deal all around.

Bit gobsmacked by the gym Hypno -what an attitude-exactly what mystery shops are supposed to highlight though I suppose. I hadn't done any in ages but got a direct plea for a last moment localish one last week paying double from Bar (who usually I never get) so maybe it'll bring forth more. It's something I definitely need to be doing more of.

Hate to tell people but all my Christmas cards are written and sent! I didn't need to buy any as I had loads left over from last year and the year before (I had to buy some last year because having moved in October I couldn't find them in a box! and I got the M&S buy 2 get 1 free ones :rotfl:)

Just need to write the ones for the neighbours now so another half dozen and I am done and dusted!

Loads left over from last year at our house too!!! -- Somehow in the confusion of organizing life around the parents-in-law last year, the cards got signed, addressed & ready to go, but no stamps...

Only to be discovered again in February!

So this year's goal is to get stamps on them and in the post before Christmas!

Doesn't say much for our organization...
but top marks for a very MSE Christmas this year!

  • Afternoon all you highly organised christmas people :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My DH is hopefully coming home with cards today, if I hand him a pen do you think he will get the hint

Surfbabe, a friend had probs with her vocal cords, (she's a teacher), saw a specialist in London on NHS, they got her sorted. Hope you get on ok too, she thought her career was over, but that must be 6-7 years ago now and all is well (not sure her class think so when they are misbehaving, lol)

Off now to write some lists in the hope of getting organised
