Overtime city in this house atm. So much for recession the world and his wife seem to be buying laptops and then be incapable of typing in a network key in capitals -still it's good for me Should be working tonight but DS had forgotten to tell me it's parent's evening til today. Lucky I have a nice boss !
Off to Vegas for the weekend to see the girls (and some American singer and his sister) then back for payday and the last of the Christmas shopping-then recoup some of it working Boxing day

Overtime = money so all good stuff duchy! Have a fab time in vegas!

I have done all the surveys I can - got screened out of most of them but managed to gain an extra couple of ££ along the way, so that will have to do -it all adds up in the grand scheme of things.

When OH gets home from work I need to go out and do the last part of my mystery shop assignment - it has to be finished by tomorrow so it is a case of doing it now or not at all, and I have come too far to throw it away now, especially as it is the best part of £100 to come my way!

Right, last part of that mystery shop done and input and I am so furious!!! I had a 5 part assignment where I had to join a gym and go through induction, and then ask about cancelling my membership. When I asked if there was any chance I could cancel, the manager told me I would be referred directly to a debt collecting agency.

WRONG MYSTERY SHOPPER TO MAKE THAT STATEMENT TO, MATEY!!!!! It was quite intimidating, and even though I know that my contract WILL be cancelled by the mystery shop people, and I don't actually pay anything - I left there feeling physically sick! He didn't run through the contract, or explain the procedure should I wish to cancel my direct debit etc, he just said I would be referred to Icon, their debt collector.........

Needless to say, a suitable report has been completed and submitted. Staff training required there I think!

Still, £50 coming my way, so worth getting cross about, I suppose!

wow i would love to see that report ...go kick !!!!! girl ...and weight loss well done you ...that is hopefully gonna be a side effect of my new health regime ...do you think it is the running that has helped you?

El, it can only be the running that has been helping me lose weight - my head is not really geared to counting points and not eating chocolate at this point in time, so it really must be the running! Don't get me wrong, I am not pigging out or bingeing but I am not exactly tracking every morsel that crosses my lips Plus it is Christmas.....too much good food around

That's shocking isn't it. Makes you wonder how many of their members are still paying £x a month because they daren't cancel in case it screws up their credit record :mad:

He didn't even know what the cooling off period was or anything......! But as he was giving me all this threatening stuff I just kept thinking "keep going, you are going to regret this"!!!

I quite hope the head office ring me to follow up my report.........now that would be fun!
