Ooh, spam.......ages since I had one of those visit my thread. Perhaps I might even get a visit from a troll at some point.....that would be fun:rotfl:
Surfbabe, glad you are feeling better.
Shaun and doodledo - helloooo!
KC, sorry you are feeling crappy - yes, debt does do this to you. At a time when everyone is able to grab bargains in the shop, we are thinking about paying extra off the debt etc, and although we will feel good about it at the end of the day, when it is in process it just makes us feel as though the whole world is against us sometimes!
I bought a latte on my way to work.......and a pain au chocolat for breakfast. Latte is fab but the pain au chocolat was obviously yesterdays - I am pretty sure it didn't see an oven today  Not fair, I see these now as a real treat, and it was anything but!
Anyway, grumble over.....for nowSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

well done on the bonus it's ages since i've worked somewhere you get a bonus, and then we used to get it taxed by the horrible man who does nothing but take a slice of our wages.
I've only been offline for a couple of says and we're on page 8 i really must make and effort to come on here everyday or i'll lose track again.0 -

No "formal" news on the complaint - just the case of wine that arrived a couple of weeks ago! I will be following it up next week if nothing explanatory arrives in the post.
I hope to be rid of the egg loan by the summer - it is still at £11500 so some way to go......but heading in the right direction. DS's ski training costs have impacted on my debt busting at the min, so things not going down as quickly as I had hoped.......which reminds me, I have to pick up (and pay for) a pair of skis that we are buying second hand from someone tonight....must not forget!
Lemon Tree - yes, my bonus was taxed, but they give us a cheque for the net amount after tax and NI rather than put it in with our normal salary later in the month, so that we can think of it more as a Christmas Present!!
Speaking of my bonus......I managed to resist travel agents this lunchtime!!! The sooner that money gets cleared and paid to the debt, the better I think!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
