    the insteps in my old trainers had collapsed so had no support - the new ones have plenty of support, but my feet are not used to it!

    That looks sore and so does by your big toe.That's a strange place to get a blister do you turn in on your insoles when running.If you do you may do well to see a podiatrist.

    my big toe is fine - that is just dead skin.......not attractive, but then again, I am not wearing strappy sandals at the moment!!

    But, yes, I will obviously have to get them seen because the instep is now rather sore :o

    It IS sore......rather.......but I have a marathon to get round, so I will have to work through it. No running tomorrow, but will get it padded for Friday and see if I can go out and run then......
