Oh gosh yes - now I am back, I want to stay! But yes, the running does help to clear my head at the end of the day and is probably one reason I have managed to get into long distances fairly quickly - the benefit to my sanity is much needed!!!

Hypno - this made think of the Famous Five, sorry I'll get my coat :rotfl:

Mum is out of respite care and back in her own home - she manged fine yesterday and today - so stress level is slighty down..
have been with DD to Uni interview today in Farnham and got home to find she has an offer from the Uni she really wants to go to !!

So all positive on the home front - jsut need to destress a bit and catch up on sleep and make a big decision about whether I carry on swimming teaching or not !

Hypno I am soooooooooo jealous! We went on our 1st ski holiday last year and would love to do it again! You will have such fun, i'm so pleased for you, thats something lovely to look forward to.

Poor you with the cold, don't go and knock yourself up doing too much, I think I had that one straight after xmas, i was coming home from work and going straight to bed, feeling exhausted and couldn't get warm, there's so much going round this time of year. Keep on the echanacia and night nurse/day nurse is good stuff when you're desperate!

Booked our summer hols this weekend, we're off to Egypt! so ive got something to look forward to too!

    take care

surfbabe, I am so glad things are looking good in surfbabeland......make sure you look after yourself too.

CG - I went to Egypt just after my Dad died - bad timing, but even in my grief stricken state, I was just amazed at the Pyramids and the technical ability of people 4000 years ago.......and we think WE are the clever ones with technology now........I don't think so! You will have a fab time. Skiing for me is my "buzz" and has been for almost 25 years, so I really do get the most out of it......as do the kids.

I have just run 8 miles, but one foot is suffering with a renewed blister....seems it was not as healed as I thought....

Off for a bath now, hope you have all had a good day x

Great news Surfbabe and good luck with the deciscion.
Sorry to hear about the new blister Hypno...how annoying!!!!!...I agree about the pyramids....a lot of the old buildings are amazing.
    Enjoy your bath.
Not long back from the gym myself and very proud of myself that I've been as I'm a lazy git....long time before I'll be as fit as you...about 3 years probably.
