Oh gosh yes - now I am back, I want to stay! But yes, the running does help to clear my head at the end of the day and is probably one reason I have managed to get into long distances fairly quickly - the benefit to my sanity is much needed!!!

  • Hope you feel better soon. I am surprised a cold *dares* to raise its ugly head. Doesn't it know you are on a mission?

    I do keep reminding it.........

I am immensely tired though - that is the worst bit of it. Hopefully when I go out for a run, even if I don't go far, it will clear the cobwebs away, but right now I could happily fall asleep at my desk :o

Having had so much running time off with my blisters, I don't really want to take time off with the cold, now!

I would take a couple of days off just to give your body a rest. It could make your head bang a bit if it is a stuffy kind of cold...or, as it once did to a friend of mine, brought all the phlegm up:eek:

    :j Finally!

You take a break! You enjoy it! And most of all, you do not worry about that debt, it's taken you just over two years to decimate it! Another month isn't going to end the world!

Application has gone there and has been received, just they have lots of applications to sift through so starting tomorrow is a no go. :o

But I get the superfunohmygodI'mgoingtokilltheHRdepartment day of talks from Southwark PCT explaining how they promote excellence...

Yeah not happy but then who is when they're working?! :rotfl:

Job wise... Yeah, might become a recruitment consultant again... There is a method to my madness: It's a temporary desk I'm looking at so therefore more flexible workers to work with and lots of short contracts. I do two years of building up financial recruitment in the Financial Services and Industry and commerce and then, at the end of the 2 years, I have my CIPD and enough stable experience to do what I want to do! :T

It's so insane it's full proof!

Sounds like a plan Walshy - then once you've finished you can find me a nice, plumb finance role :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, considering I only go to the football when I get given a free ticket, I don't think I will be requesting a meeting with Delia just yet!

And as for a jag....nooooo......do you really think that parking in supermarket spaces will be easy in something that long!!

The holiday does mean that my rotten window frames get to live on for another year...........
