We did talk about it over the weekend, but it was one of those "we'll see" things.........
Today I decided that if I can definitely do it within a very precise budget, then it can be a go-er......but we will not be extending the debt to do so.
It has been carefully chosen as a week where there are no races.....so no chance for them to get caught up in ski-race fever.......just a week of fun and pootling (rather quickly) round the alps....something that we haven't done for "fun" for a very long time.
I am excited already

I will tell them - it means that I can threaten them with going on my own if they misbehave/give me attitude/don't do their homework on time/don't make me enough coffee etc.......:D

OH is not a great skier, so is not so devastated at being given the opportunity to have the house to himself for a week. If money were no object and we could stay in a lovely hotel for a week, then he would probably come with us, but as we are slumming it in a shoebox sized "studio" complete with pull out bed and one hot plate, it isn't exactly his idea of a good time!!!
