Goodluck OJK - I did a big paperwork sort out when we moved, scrapped a lot through the shredder but things I wanted to keep I put into files for each year. I know sorting is due again because the filing cabinet (just a wooden one) is about ready to give up!

Chilly is an understatement, my poor little car is frozen already, I have the joys of trying to get through to the dales tomorrow!

Forgot to add I got the tights (£5), then I got some new shoes (£30) and a shirt (£14). Haddn't noticed (must have had my eyes closed) that there was a sale on, so the whole lot came to £38 I think it was. Picked up some of the cards I needed, wrapping paper and hairspray.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hello everyone

Rach - I'm happy to get the battery for you if you want me to. Did you use the little shop on the precinct? Let me know for sure and I'll pm you my address
Flylady-Flower - if I forget in the morning - do have a lovely holiday
Dusty - hope the little one isn't ill too long
Menolly - hope the antibiotics work quickly for your DH
    Welcome back Christmas shopper
    Pigpen - hope you're OK
    Lil-me - sorry the house wasn't suitable.

Have only skim read the thread whilst having a cup of tea. Desperately need a G&T but daren't have one until I get back from doing my presentation thing in about an hour.

It took me TWO HOURS! to get home from work today! Two severe holdups on the roads I use. In the end, when I got to the first hold up and saw how long it was, I did a u-turn and ended up doing a 25 mile detour so that I could avoid both trouble spots. I'm glad I did. They're still talking on the radio about the blockage further down.

But best bung this stew in the oven, pop some stuff in the bread maker then head out to speak to my hostile audience.

    Catch yous later!

If your hands are always dry then I use Aveeno on mine -it has oatmeal in it for some reason it works really well on my arms - they used to have those horrible chicken bumps on them but now they're gone - and my hands and even my feet. If you have cotton gloves like someone already said then that helps esp if you do it just before bed and keep them on all night. Aveeno is good because it's anti allergy and even clears up OH's excema.

I have officially given up being a flylady for the rest of the day I still have stuff to do but have managed to re-organise my new un-wonky wardrobe and I'm feeling a bit down. Work are hassling me about being off. So I'm going to sit in front of the tv and feel sorry for myself for the rest of the night.:(
