Oooookay! DD2 just gone for her nap. I'm trying to work out where to put a chair at the moment which is in the middle of the kitchen. Think my plan for the next hour or two is to clear the lounge floor and organise the dining room bit of kitchen. I have a few shelves with just a load of stuff on so I'm going to grab a few boxes and sort everything into rooms.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Trying to get through the clutter in some boxes. I have far too many boxes of "stuff"! Just found the notebook I've been searching for though and my other hairbrush! The next thing is to get people to take their stuff into their various rooms and put it away and bring the box back to me! Sent Mr G downstairs with a box to look through and put away and it's still on the floor down there :rolleyes:Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

BTW is anyone else getting very dry hands? I've put Vaseline Hand and Nail lotion on about 5 times already today and my hands are still like sandpaper
My knuckles were red and sore last night as they'd dried so much. Can any recommend something? I do tend to wash my hands a fair bit throughout the day

Afternoon all
Just a quick post and I'll catch up with the thread later (maybe)
DH is now up and about, but has told work he won't be back till Monday. I'm hoping to pack him off to the doc's this afternoon as he's complaining about his kidneys. He's still coughing a lot too.
DS is away to his A & P lesson, but we got on quite well at the solicitors this morning. He said it's a pity we hadn't contacted him a year ago, but that's because we thought others were helping to resolve things. Anyway, he will be writing to the LEA to tell them he wants suitable adjustments to allow DS to have his lessons downstairs and that he will require a taxi to and from school as necessary! The LEA told us he wasn't entitled to it as we live within 3 miles of school, but the solicitor said as a Disabled student he is entitled. He said the chances of any compensation might be limited now, but he's going to look in to it anyway, which would be a bonus for DS.
What has come out of this is that if you have a child with special needs and they haven't been statemented, push for it, take them to Tribunal if necessary and don't withdraw until you have the required "package" confirmed in writing. He has also advised me to write a letter of complaint to the agency which was supposed to be advising us, as they gave us incorrect and inappropriate advice - and they are funded by the LEA! Surely there is a conflict of interest there, as they are always going to be on the side of the LEA, instead of the student?
Anyway, off to do a bit of flying! Back later - maybe.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
