Didn't do too well but need to set off soon for viewing, haven't managed to get to the shops before so will have to go after or in the morning.

Best go get ready, aswell as the laptop is nearly flat, will put a TD load in before I go and another washer load.

    TTFN xx

Flower...hasn't arrived yet! Got sidetracked by Sims 2 :rotfl:

Just had a thing from the bank which looks like our payments are going down by about £200  Although we're interest only at the moment so I'm wondering whether we should now start paying the capital as well. Trouble is I don't want it to shoot back up so we have problems again. Think I'll get Mr G to call the broker later. Wish it was both interest and capital :rotfl:

I'll get more done when small one is napping in a bit. I did try to clean in the kitchen and she managed to trap her finger in a drawer, try to sweep away my neat pile of rubbish (need to find the dustpan) and then tried to climb over the dog's bowls to get to the plant I'd hidden in the corner!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible
  • I've just put some paint on my shelves and am now off to make bread dough and pastry to bake later ;)

    :coffee: and :bdaycake: anyone :confused::D

See you all later, Penny. x

Gryfon, maybe consider overpayments or putting what you have extra into a savings account to pay off in a chunk when you can. Just thinking rather than tie yourself to something. I am sure after this iffy period sorts itself out there will be increases again. Hope little one is ok..

Waiting for DP to 'finish' so still here, have done TD and WM. Penny thank you :D yes I will.

Been in touch with a rescue, trying to put a positive into a negative, considering fostering when Megan does have to leave us rather than taking one for 'life' on again. Inspired by PFs work. Something I was going to do more of before Megan took poorly. Still in discussion stage, trying to find out what would be expected of us. We prefer 'big breed' dogs, and there is a specific rescue for them up in Northumberland so discussing things via email with them. Thinking it might be best if we do need to move and have issues getting acceptance with pets, I could never part with a FT pet for a home for us, then there is the joy from rehoming I got with Holly which was really special. So many reasons why it might work well for us aswell as the rescue. DP might need a little more convincing so need to get full details first to speak to him with, for now I will just keep showing him photos of the Rotties and GSDs under their care :D emotional blackmail (his 2 fave types of dog)

Right, think he's finished so best get coat on, toodles.

    Morning all (just)

Cold here again and cloudy too. One load of washing hung up indoors.

I've cleaned the bathroom and toilet thoroughly and washed the floors. Emptied all the indoor bins.

    Marzipaned my Christmas cake.

Took the dog out. Peeled spuds for dinner.

Got a thumping headache just on one side. Sinuses again.

Not much else going on here.

    All the best mudbath.

    Welcome miggie.

    Off to read more posts.
