I've just had a coffee. Starting to flag now though and my eyes don't want to stay open!
Might start the pasty for the mince pies, children will be home in an hour and I want them to bake sooner rather than later as I'm going out.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Good afternoon!
Been a very busy day, not had chance to catch up yet, course this morning and someone collapsed which wasn't fun so my adrenalin is still bouncing about. Got an appointment to go view the house tomorrow (just had the call) so that's something sort of positive. Watching Megan like a hawk as her stomachs making some gastly noises.
Going to go empty the DW then collect DS2, will try to catch up with you all this evening, hope you are all having a good day.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Right I am going to have a quick sort of pressies the kids can see (those for others) into the boxes that are to go on the bedroom floor, the bit that I hoovered earlier! Then it will be school run time and when we get back Miss A IS going to sort out the bag that I have just dumped all her stuff from her floor in. I went in there twice and stood on sharp things grrrrrOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

michelle hope you managed to get some rest this morning, are you still interested in some hand knits for the boys?
Hiya
No rest here cos i am wicked.Charlie has slept loads but Sam hasn't so no rest for me. Lots of sick, snot, paddies, tears, and my head is pounding. I hope they start to pick up soon, but as i have been off it since saturday, who knows. I can't keep this up much longer anyway.
Yes i would still like hand knit stuff if you've found it. We'll have to sort something out there. Perhaps we should wait till after xmas though when life is a bit less manic.
Flying wise - i actually managed to hang up a load of washing, and get the WM reloaded again, and i am starting to write a list of things to buy at the shops - mainly parecetomol and ibuprofen.
Can i just ask - every time Charlie's temp is spiking as the drugs wear off, his heart is going ten to the dozen, I've not noticed this with him before, and with the hallucinations he had last night, i am really not liking this virus. Do your kids do this? If he is still ill tomorrow i think i will take them both to the drs - might as well see if he will prescribe the parecetomol at the least.
back to cbeebies anyway and keeping an eye on them

Yes, its that time of year again. I have made this recipe for many years and just wanted to share it with you.
It is probably the best you will taste!
Christmas Cake
Ingredients:
* 2 cups flour
* 1 stick butter
* 1 cup of water
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1 cup of sugar
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 cup of brown sugar
* Lemon juice
* 4 large eggs
* Nuts
* 1 bottle wine
* 2 cups of dried fruit
Sample the wine to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the wine again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the wine is still OK. Try another cup... Just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 eggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.
Pick the !!!!!!!g fruit up off floor. Mix on the turner.. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the wine to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Check the wine. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or some fink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window. Finish the wine and wipe counter with the cat.

Bless him, give him a hug from us.
Is he getting plenty of fluids? I used a cool mist humidifier and within the day i noticed a massive difference in Sean. It was the one at £25 from argos. It may be worth getting into doctors to make sure its not an infection.
Well i am now a lurker only posted to reply to michelle, i have been run off my feet. Wrapped up some pressies this afternoon total of 2 hours and went to playgroup this morning. 2 blooming hours and not even 20% through it:eek: i will try and catch up over the next few days but have still got lots and lots to do.You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Will keep all the clothes to one side for you Michelle
as to Charlie I would put his symptoms in to the NHS Direct website and see what that suggests but remember you are his mum, trust your instincts. If the NHS site says self treat and you are still concerned then take him to the Doctors. You can give Ibuprofen and paracetamol together, I have given them katy cornered with A & W in the past so that they are dosed up constantly when they are ill. Hugs for you.
