  • Sheesh - i'm way back there, so no hope in catching up for me tonight.

I've had a fairly good attempt at Mondays list over 2 days. I have also made some mince pies and jam tarts today while making pastry for dinner anyway. It's been a long rough one today, so i had to really nag myself to do that.

DS2 was up from 2am this morning running a red hot temp.We brought him in with us, but he wouldn't settle so i eventually just got up.Luckily it was a nursery day for DS1, as he has powernapped on my knee a lot, and been very whingy inbetween, and then from tea time he also started upchucking, managing to cover himself, me and DS1, who was then sat there gipping too, so all lots of fun here.

I'm surprised i have done as much as i have actually then. I decided i would come and post while the 1st load of stuff that needs washing is doing, and then i really need bed.

mudders hope you had a fabby day today, and best of luck for tomorrow.

juliejim happy birthday to you too. I also wanted to let you know DS1's parcel arrived safely today, so thanks for that, and yet again you are a big softie. You really have a heart of gold.

mumof four and anw's mum i really feel for you both at this time of year trying to do it all yourself. DH isn't much use at doing the prep, but its the hugs and the company that i appreciate and i guess you miss. Lots of hugs to both of you.

Right, back to page 11 i think it was. I hope we get a better night tonight. This week seems to be whizzing so fast, and i also have to squeeze in my friends funeral on Friday afternoon, and perhaps getting the cat sorted at the vets again. All go.

    Hello lovely Flyladies....

Very sad lady here.... My friend's son is being tested for leukemia on Thursday. He's been very poorly for the last few weeks, and they've been unsure why. The hosp sent blood samples to Birmingham Children's Hosp, and they've recommended for him to be put under general for them to test his bone marrow. :(

If anyone is inclined, I'd really appreciate some positive vibes please ladies. It's unbearable to think he might have this disease. He's only 9.

I believe that positive thoughts can help. Sorry, very very sad, and upset.

How awful!!!! I'm sending positive vibes and keeping fingers crossed that it's nothing so drastic.

SarahS - the most positive of positive vibes winging their way from the south coast too...

Flylady-F and JulieJim - the errors of typing a response in notepad and then doing a cut and paste! I knew it was JJ's birthday and that's who I meant to send it to but it didn't work out that way. So, here we go again (hopefully right this time!)

    JulieJim - Happy Birthday! :bdaycake:

Well, the kitchen is looking pretty good. Swept and dusted and polished. DD popped in for a bit - was lovely to see her. I'm now off to my bed once again. Where does the time go? It seems only a moment ago I was off to my bed last night!

Hoping each and everyone of you has a peaceful and restorative night's sleep

  • Hello to all of you who have been kind enough to be concerned about me:A I have had lots more investigations at the hospital, they have decided the large 'mass' is attached to the outside of the uterus, but still aren't sure if it is cancerous, so I have to have more scans & a biopsy, anyway either way it can't stay in there so I am booked to have a total hysterectomy on 13 February with the option of it being fastracked if the results come back 'nasty' in the meantime I have to have injections to try & shrink it to make it easier to remove  so Mudbath I will be following your progress avidly :o so I know what is coming.

Having had so much support from you lovely people on here I just want to send some positive vibes back to Sarahs for the young lad & Lilme for the doggie, havn't caught up with much else today.

    Take care all xx

Hi Lady-Liberty - good to have you back. You must have had a rollercaoster of a day at the hospital, 13th Feb is a ways off though you will at least have time to plan, cos you won't be flying after such a big op. Do you have more tests before Xmas or are they making you wait until Jan?

Sarahs - such a terrible time for your friends little boy and all his family, I'll be sending as many positive thoughts as I can muster his way.

    (((((((Hugs)))))))) to you all.

  • Just catching up before i go to sleep, very tired, think it is just exam stress.
Big hugs Lil_me, not an easy decision to make, you'll know when the time is right.

Positive, healing thoughts coming your friends way Sarah. It is a dreadful disease for anyone but especially in one so young, i spent a month living in a kids oncology ward with LO and it was heartbreaking. Really do hope the tests come back negative.

Nice to see you back Lady Liberty, glad today went ok.

Good luck with the exams piggy wig.:D

LL welcome home, hope it doesn't turn out to be anything nasty, another FL in for 'the op' well I am sure we can all keep you company when you're out of action for a while :) get yourself on Freecycle and collect some books/magazines etc people no longer want as we'll shout if you overdo it! Fingers crossed for you next week on the tests, it's not nice being poked/prodded etc :( I went through it with my liver, thinking of you xx

Thanks everyone for your support today, think I will set the alarm for 3am ish to let Megan out, see if that helps, luckily we've got hard floors in the rooms she's in so it's a case of scrub with disinfectant, going to start putting pads down where she's having her accidents aswell.

    g&b and pigpen good luck!
