Very sad lady here.... My friend's son is being tested for leukemia on Thursday. He's been very poorly for the last few weeks, and they've been unsure why. The hosp sent blood samples to Birmingham Children's Hosp, and they've recommended for him to be put under general for them to test his bone marrow.

If anyone is inclined, I'd really appreciate some positive vibes please ladies. It's unbearable to think he might have this disease. He's only 9.

I believe that positive thoughts can help. Sorry, very very sad, and upset.

rach - the play was great thanks and the children were fab! I am sooooo proud of all 55 of them (and of all my staff team)! The only thing that went wrong was the CD playing deciding not to work for one bit - but luckily our pianist realised and quickly improvised a Chinese tune!

sarah babes - huge hugs to you, your friend, the family and most all the wee boy - thats so worrying - will send my best positive thoughts - i know positive thinking got me through lots - lets hope for a christmas wish that its not leukemia and something easily dealt with.
If the worst happens - children are very resilient and he will probably cope better than his folks! your friend will need your support.

It's all gone a bit wrong here tonight. I'm tired and really want to go to bed but my Christmas pudding is still steaming. Wondering if I take it off the heat and put it on for 2 or 3 hours in the morning will sort it.
