Well I managed to do most of the washing and drying up in that shortened HHC Froddy - how did you do? Most of it has been put away - there are just a few things on the draining board that are draining before I dry them.

I managed to iron enough clothes to last the week at work! Arm is aching a lot tonight so using that as an excuse not to do any more :p

Hi I'm in again. Thanks for the list Pigpen.
Don't know how much I'll get done - I'm a bit busy this week and full of cold. Got to take some documents to Bedford tomorrow, physio on Tuesday, Oxford hospital with DS on Wednesday, DD Xmas play on Thursday and I've got to get solicitor to witness our signatures so the house in America can close on Friday.

Hi if only its nice to have you on board. great time to start and it will make the mayhem at christmas easier to deal with if you get to grips with things now.
you are very welcome. Dont go mad in your first week - if you achieve level one every day that will be brilliant and next week it will be easier to do a bit more - Dont try to do it all at once!!! the support on here is brilliant - and there is no such thing as failure - always post what you have done even if its just a tiny thing it all counts! A new room is added evryday so by the end of the week you have been round the house. Welcome to the madhouse:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

I'm in again this week, need to get the house ready for the festivities so there is a bit more urgency now.

Will start on the bedroom after OH finishes his bath then I can get ahead of myself.

We still haven't put the tree up and won't manage it tonight so will have to try and do it tomorrow.

Have just sent DS home with one of our old PCs - his housemate needed one and we have had this one cluttering up the study for ages, so one less thing to clean round:D I think now that the kids have all left home the main thing will be to de-junk the house, so there's at least one New Year resolution to put on the list.

Hugs to all who need them - Lady Liberty arn't you at hosptial this week? hope something gets sorted for you soon.

    Evening

    Welcome to mummyto3 and ioiwe.

Count me in again this week, and please may I return to normal duties, Pigpen, as I'm back at work (unfortunately) tomorrow?
Thanks for the Pork Info. Hopefully, the gammon steaks we had for dinner were fine as I only bought them at lunchtime. I think I'd better throw out the last of the Richmond sausages. I can't find any info about them and we've already eaten half the bag, but better safe than sorry.

Well, not much actual flying done, but it's been a busy day anyway. I've done my usual dailies, washed all my towels, and just put the dogs bedding in to wash as DS bathed both big dogs today. I've put two coats of paint on the longest wall in the lounge. Hopefully, I'll have the energy to top coat tomorrow evening. DH has stripped all the paper in the bathroom and found out why it's so draughty. Loads of gaps around the windows that had just been papered over. We've found so many jobs done by "Bodgett and Scarper", but at least if we take everything back to the bare plaster we can make sure it's right. He's got some preparation work to do in there now, then we can start painting. I've got the tiles for the bath area, but DB is coming to look under the bath to see if he can shunt it a bit for us. It needs to be closer to the wall and slightly further away from the window end. he said you can get flexible pipe that might do the trick.

DS made dinner for us, which was lovely and I'm now carrying on with writing my cards whilst watching Strictly. I'm recording "Take That" and still haven't watched the last two Sunday shows.

My usual (regular, boring, never changing, but at least I can remember which day it is :o:D) list:
    Dailies
    SS Kitchen, Bathroom, Shower room
    Make beds
DW, WM, TD(still not been delivered coz they mucked up my order), BM, CM
    Feed dogs, cats and fish
    Groom dogs and cats
    Walk dogs

Manic Monday - Kitchen, Utility and Dining Room/Are
    a
    Level One
    Clean floors in these areas
    Level Two
    Wipe down surfaces
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer etc) and inside the microwave
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
[STRIKE]Clean the oven if missed last week or it needs it [/STRIKE]DS did this today. He is an :A.
Extra tasks - if you want to do more:
Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps, a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
[STRIKE]Empty one shelf (or the top of a cupboard) clean it, clean what's on it and put it all back
Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like[/STRIKE]Still nice and tidy!:D:D
Wipe & replace small appliances like kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)

Off to write more cards, then I think I'll have a bath and an early night ready for work tomorrow. Night all and God Bless. x
