Awww g&b poor birdy, good luck with the exams

Bother, found a hideaway workstation I liked the look of, better size, then realised the daft big monitor I went and bought won't fit inside it, pah!

Ooooo I had another idea, keep the desk in there with the printer/scanner on it, use it as a laptop workstation (printing the stuff in there etc via laptop) aswell as a desk, then I can use a smaller desk, will discuss that with DP when he comes back in from the very cold garage. Doh why didn't I think of that before.

Forgot to add, some progress made (with DP), he's stopped parading around in just shorts and whacking the heating up since I went flippy about the bills, :D result, he now sits with his fleece on moaning, don't know what's worse!
One day I might be more organised...........

I might actually try to get something done this week :o I'm finding it difficult with the utility room still being a work in progress, and the amount of disruption/mess it causes.

I have, however, been able to use both WM & TD this weekend, so have washed all but one and a bit loads, and should be able to keep on top of it from now on. However, I do have a lot of ironing to do as a result...

Other than that haven't got a huge amount done this weekend. Was VERY stressed on Friday evening (anyone else here have to work with idiots??? ). Had my hair cut on Saturday, and then did some shopping (bought a very nice, very expensive dress which should see me through parties for several years - the last one I bought in the same shop has done 4 years of weddings & parties - just in time for work Xmas party on Tuesday). Parking and shopping was manic, so by the time I got home I was very dehydrated. Managed to go to the farm shop and supermarket, then read on the sofa while re-hydrating, and woke up there just after midnight! Woke up this morning with the remnants of a dehydration headaches, so didn't actually get up until 1ish... stripped the bed and washed the bedding, did lots of washing up, loaded DW (can't set it off, as apparently I can't use it until tomorrow  ), did expenses, wrote Christmas cards, so am now going to finish tidying up the kitchen, find dry bedding (it won't be ironed, but that's tough), have a bath and pack my stuff up for tomorrow (I want to try to go for a swim in the morning and to yoga afterwards... I need to get fit/tone up).

Hugs to everyone... hope to keep up with you this week.

and toots... I did notice that you seem to have let your kitchen table get out of control again... it must be all this gallivanting around the country and socialising that you've been doing!

    Hiya everyone
Hope you've all had a great weekend. I'm in (ish) this week - well, i'm in on Monday and Wednesday! I've not done any flying over the weekend apart from walk dogs. Last night we had friends round for christmas dinner incase I don't feel fab on the real day. It was a lovely night and they had a collection and are taking me shopping when i'm recovered so that's something to look forward to. They wouldn't give me the money because they knew i'd spend it on the children, the dogs or the house!!! They know me too well - i'm only allowed to spend it on me, lol!!!

Tomorrow, i'm doing an extra long dog walk whilst I can, working, pre-op appointment and being taken out in the evening. In between all this I want to finish decorating the tree and a bit more flying.....not much though.

Speak to you all soon xx

Well the shelf was too small for my tower, it worked okay with the tower next to it and then I had magazine racks on top of the tower for my filing, except for the shelf/shin problem it would have been fine!!
