boddy how lovely - you deserve it - you do a lot for them and support them and they obviously appreciate it and love you very much! Oh great another flyer for the ironing challenge YAY - it would be such a lovely feeling wouldnt it - having said that I am not making much inroads into mine but will have plenty time after Christmas. I always think of 'kist' as a scottish word but may be wrong - I think it sounds nicer than chest or box!!!

Evening all

Well, I have had a shock this evening. Was happily playing my new tomb raider game(early chrimbo gifty to me) when an explosion happened o screen and it all went pitch lack....hmmm me thimks, don't think that was meant to happen, so oh has had to sort it out. One of those everythings fine and no idea how it happened things...but for 5 mins thought I'd killed the PS3...ARGH

Juliejim - So sorry to hear about Brandy, at least she'll be at peace and you know you did what was best for her. Enjoy your bath and relax, rememeber grief takes time.

Right I've been a bit slack this last week, so I've big plans for this coming week...level 3 across the board and then some type plans...guests for Christmas eve and family for boxing day has put the fear of pigpen into me as the last time my mum saw the flat it was fabulous...gotta keep up appearances. So I may need asre-booting, feel free to do so..starting tomorrow.

Boys are in bed, Christmas cards are done and ready to post. DW and WM ar e on yet again and bags/uniform are sorted for the morning. The mystery of where DH's underwear has gone is solved so I can stop having dark thoughts about the pants fairy - I had shoved some clean washing in a black bag last time we had unexpected visitors, and had left it upstairs thinking it was demolition rubbish until today. At least I didn't accuse DH of losing them or anything .

I have a huge pile of ironing to do so is anyone else up for HHI? My aim is to do enough work clothes to get us both through to Christmas Eve.

All my memories of Hogmanay are of my mum frantically ironing and getting it all done before midnight. No dust from the old year was to go into the new year. Then cooking for about 30 people on New Years Day while the men went to the football/running etc. No wonder I've turned out the way I have :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
