Have had a mostly lazy Sunday - hardly a flutter let alone a fly:rotfl:

Did go to Asda this morning for my last big shop before Xmas - not much on the grocery front to have to buy now. The pressies are a different story, I still need to finish these off so OH and I are going to have a trip out to Leeds and York tomorrow and have a nice lunch out somewhere.

OH has been working on the bedrooms again today and we have had wet onther trip to the tip. I also have some stuff to send to the charity shop so that will be on tomorrows agenda too - I will be glad to go back to work for a rest:D

Well I must go and sort the washing and cook some food, then I may tidy the lounge - its a real mess!!

just having a breather while I try to decide where my blanket chest/kist is going in the bedroom - It has been living in the hall since I started doing the carpet - but now it has been emptied, cleaned and back in the bedroom - just want to make sure its where I want it before i refil it again!!!

DH got all the Christmas decorations down from the loft and we've started putting them up but we just hadn't got the heart for it so, while the kids are in the bath, I've put the rest of the decs back in boxes ready for tomorrow night.

Going to have a bath in a min when the kids get out as I don't really feel like doing anything else.

DD and GSs came and brought a box wrapped in xmas paper. I didnt want to open it I wanted to wait till xmas. They said I had to as they were worried I would get one myself as lots of sales on. I couldnt think what on earth it it was. Eventually persuaded and I have a new hifi. They had clubbed together to get it as mine hasnt worked for ages. I am so delighted I cried as I know they dont have much.

I was also overwhelmed this morning as the manager at my new place of work has included me in the staff gifts and I have a little pressy off her.

Saw the clients from my usual workplace yesterday and they were pleased to see me as I was them. Although they were puzzled why I was elsewhere.

havent been able to catch up with thread srry, so hugs to all those who need/want any, DD has now come out in spots although not the same as mine!! think hers might be chicken pox, another trip to the docs tomorrow, hoping not to see the dr i saw on fri.!

Hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. So far today I've done grocery shopping, laundry & decorating. My aims for the rest of the day are to do more laundry & errands
