I have been pestered all day to get the tree and the decs down from the loft. So to shut them up I have got them down.

They are now squabbling like there's no tomorrow over which bits go where ........... So the whinging is worse than it was before.

You have only 17 days left so you had better keep that ironing up to date - we are going for it - as many of us without any ironing left as we can manage!!!

Huge ((((hugs)))) to you all - I hope the children are not too upset either - I am sure you have lovely memories of Brandy and you would not have wanted him to suffer - a very hard but very brave decision. Thinking of you all.

Hugs Juliejim - it's a hard decision to make.

Congratulations jjef! I'm going to make an effort to get mine under control (seeing as I've just washed 7 shirts, I'm going to need to get the iron out soon anyway!).

Valli - good luck with the scan. Make sure you turn up early, as I always find that it takes a lot longer than they think to achieve a full bladder - last time I couldn't even swallow anymore and they STILL said it wasn't full (of course, I then spent the rest of the day peeing out the 22 cups of water I drank at the hospital!)

Flower - enjoy your break. Hopefully the odd peak at us all scurrying about trying to get sorted out will make you feel even more rested!

Triker - congratulations on being so well organised

Lil_me - hope you manage to sort out what's happened with the funeral costs. There's a lot of discussion about this kind of thing at the moment, with funeral directors trying to persuade people to pick top of the range for everything in order to give their loved ones great send off. It's worth making sure that everyone knows that when you go you just want a simple service, cardboard coffin and a green burial/cremation/pre-paid spot in your local cemetery), so tht they don't get bullied into doing something over the top.

Toots - is it my imagination or are you actually dealing with some of the clutter that came out of your bedroom when you put the carpet down? How's the ebaying going?

Michelle - you've done far more than me (and probably a lot of the others), and we haven't been sick and dealing with sick babies, so give yourself the credit you deserve for doing so much

    TAG - Happy christmas :p

Pigpen - I hope you realise what you are responsible for... it appears that even if we're struggling with some bits & pieces, we're all a lot more under control than we would be without you!

Utility room still a work in progress, but most of the stuff is back in from the garage and being cleaned while I decide where it should go in the new cupboards (the ones that don't have builders' stuff in!).

Off to do a bit more... catch you later!

Biggest hugs JulieJim, really hard decision to make.

Feeling rubbish today, DH has taken LO into town to see santa and the reindeer in Princes St gardens and then to the cinema to see Madagascar 2. They are having some daddy/daughter bonding time so i'm getting peace to relax.
Have done some gentle flying but i'm so tired i may just go for a lie down to be honest. I have strictly taped so will maybe lie down and watch it.
