I think I'm winning... I really want the house to look like I'm expecting visitors, in the hope that this will encourage the builder not to make a mess... bring things into the house... walk through to the loo in his muddy boots... leave his dirty coffee cup & spoon on the side... etc...
... if I manage it, I might then have to invite some people over... which means I'll have to cook... Oops...
Cleaning cloths in WM with soda crystals & vinegar on a 90 degree cycle. Most of utility room stuff put away or drying ready to put away. Next stop clearing the kitchen surfaces (i.e. moving the junk to other rooms for a bit!)0 -

When first married and running a house yes there was no ironing or washing or even dust around going into the New Year, but for the last 2 or 3 years its not happened - maybe thats why the house has been a mess...0 -

Feeling rubbish today, DH has taken LO into town to see santa and the reindeer in Princes St gardens and then to the cinema to see Madagascar 2. They are having some daddy/daughter bonding time so i'm getting peace to relax.
Have done some gentle flying but i'm so tired i may just go for a lie down to be honest. I have strictly taped so will maybe lie down and watch it.
take things easy its maybe the stress of the exams coming out.0 -
