    Morning all

had a lovely day with best mate yesterday, very long neros coffee then a wander down the south bank, lovely christmas market there and because of the rain it was all quite quiet :), pint in a pub and then we ate at the pizza express across the river from st paul's which I love as the view is excellent! I was shattered after that (shared a bottle of wine as well as the beer) so set off home about 6.45pm.

DH is going into town this morning to get my stocking bits (he hates shopping so is grumpy!) and my plan for today is a combination of relaxing and cleaning! Think I might put the tree up though it still feels a bit early for me! So, a list:

    S&S kitchen
    sweep kitchen floor
    hallway - hoover
    bedroom - hoover
lounge - tidy, hoover, dust, make space for tree
empty airer & put washing away
    WM - dressing gowns
get decs down from spare room wardrobe
    put tree etc up
wrap rest of presents & package up ones to post
top up shop - sainsburys, maybe also look in woolies
    empty bins & dyson
print & fill in health insurance form
fill & send magimix redemption form
add up GC spends so far this month

Morning all, well today is 'get some work work done' day.

I've got some typing up to do and clear my backlog up as I know next week will fly by.

Going to get out of bed in a mo :p Have a coffee, plonk some lamb shanks in the slowcooker, then start.

Please shout at me to get this done because I HAVE to get this backlog cleared. It would be a huge weight off my mind and will mean I'm not stressing about it at work.;)

Catch you all in a mo.

  • Morning everybody

Its grey horrible damp and cold here - but i have got some pretty candles on and a fibre optic Christmas tree changing colour (it came from a friend's MIL who had bought herself a new one) so I am making my own brightness - must find my Christmas CD too.!!!!

triker hope you get tomtom sorted - a nice friend of mine was having to reload things on her laptop and she said she had nightmares with tomotom - sorry but thought you should know -best phone up and get help!!!
Must be the time of year when we are mulling over the years events and our lives - I have to agree with you about the site, the thread and pigpen - they have all had a huge and brilliant impact on my life.

dusty I had forgotten about woody - how could I !!!!! I hope he doesnt get too inquisitive about the tree - I had a cat many years ago and he used to get into the middle of it and sit on the branches and play with the baubles!!!

Mrs LL well done to DD for getting the message!!! and well done to you for sticking to your guns!!! enjoy your BBQ!!!

Michelle as per usual you are knocking yourself for no reason honey - you have a HUGE list of achievments for this week when considering you are not well and coping with 2 small boys who are not well I think you deserve a medal for being a brilliant Mum in the face of extreme adversity!!!!:T :T
I hope today goes a little better for you.

kassey sorry honey but you made me nearly PSML - I could just visualise the events -your cat must love you very much to bring you home a live gift!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

embb 'net heaven' :rotfl: must try to get my mother's sent there!!!! I also second what you said about the inspiration from everyone - its just amazing!
I like the dea of the lights in the kitchen window - the decors dont have to be just in the LR!!
Lou glad you found out what was wrong with the WM - no costly repairs needed just now!
crafty light some candles, put the tree lights on put the house lights on - anything to make it cheery!!
TAG hello - nice to have you here today - I missed you - I will do HHC with you!!! I am working on the hall today!
gryfon hope you feel better when you have had a coffee or 2 - have fun with the kids and hopefully the hormones will calm down!! Hope you aren't coming down with a bug - take it easy.

Morning to all you energetic flyers out there - i wish I had half your energy!!

So far I have taken my weekly tablest, had breakfast, put one load of washing on the airer and another in the machine - opened windows, made the bed, and spent about an hour catching up on here!!!

  • Hello Lovely Flyladies! I haven't posted on here for a very long time but I've been thinking of you all and Flying in my own little way. I haven't completely lost touch and know through those of you on Face Book that you're doing good things, battling with issues and generally working too hard.
I just wanted to pop in to say I hope you all get through the run up to the Christmas break and enjoy some time with those you're spending it with.
My house is a tip, Mr Messy has all but moved in, work is beyond bedlam and I'm mostly goosed when I get home. I really want to get organised and some kind of control back before the turn of the year. Talk about setting myself a challenge..

Take care of yourselves, you're all fabulous.x

Valli - I used to know some Kenyons in Bolton, but it's a long time ago!

    ooh - names?

I am having a really bad time 'mentally' at the moment - I am presuming it's hormonal:confused: but remember that I lost my house keys and left my trolley token at M0rrisons? Well - guess where my bank card is... I left my hat at my friends and lost DD in town too - but at 12 it wasn't really a panic - as per usual though she had not got her mobile so I had to pay for more time on the car park while I looked for her. She had the sense to phone my parents (reverse charges:eek:) My head feels fuzzy and I am nauseous so have stopped the tablets...

house is a tip, cards to be written present still not bought and I just could not cope with doing any of it yesterday...

anyhow - I am off to catch up now...

Aww Valli, you been poorly sick?

DD nand I have had a bit of a dodgy tum since yesterday.DH said his was a bit iffy as well. Is there a sickness bug doing the rounds then?

Just about to dispatch DH and the kids to do some shopping and put some petrol, air and oil in my car. We're down to one car now as the cam belt went on DH's on Monday:rolleyes: So mine is having extra special attention at the moment.:D

When they have disappeared I might do a HHC 11.45 - 12.15 anyone?

Question: Does anyone else cry at Christmas Carols? :o I can't even play my all time favourite anymore I just blub all over the place, it's getting quite embarrassing.
yeah - me! (even when I am NOT hormonal)

Mind you I feel silly moaning when some of you are going through so much - but my problem seems big to me at the moment - what with a scan due (full bladder:eek:) and a threat of surgery...
