Well I have started the 'One debt vs 100 days' challenge and will be trying to pay off my natwest debt by December 9th. Big challenge but do-able.
So far I have lots on its way to me but not in my bank account yet so not counting it.
£18.31 from Play sales
£33.87 from quidco (tracked but not paid yet)
£61 from £2 coins and 2p's saved up
Currently my ebay sales will get me £42.97 gross but they don't finish till Sunday so lots of scope yet!
Will ebay more stuff this Thursday and will have a look in my parents loft over the coming weeks to clear out some of my stuff and ebay more.
Bowski, yes I get on well with my landlady so far thanks. I know I've moved for the greater good but sometimes get really quite down about it.
Have you started your diary yet?LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Hi RMR... Good Luck on your 100 day challenge, That's some amount but as you say it's do-able so best of luck to ya!
I'm hoping to start ebay soon too, I've just gutted my bedroom and found a few things. Even if they don't sell for much it's better than having them sat in a wardrobe doing nothing!
I'm glad you get on with your landlady
It's a shame you feel down though- Keep looking at those figures and feel proud :A
Oh and I started my diary at the weekend... It's called I'm not boring I go camping. But it doesn't actually have anything to do with camping:rolleyes:Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
Debt now Jan 2021 - £6,208.21
Overpayment pot - £00 -
Hey RMR
I just spotted your diary and thbought I would post.
I was wondering how you were getting on with Forbidden Man, glad to know you are still together and it's going well :j:j
Susu posted on SAID again recently as a one off with an update - she is still with complicated man, they are living together and are about to go into a custody battle for his daughter. She sounds really happy with him which is great news!
Well done on getting down so low with your debts, you must be feeling really proud of yourself!
:j:beer::jI've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction

I have good and bad days but they're mostly good so can't really complain. It's just motivation to get out of debt as quickly as possible!

Thank you Makeup. I still sometimes have a look at the SAID thread to see what you're all up to. Very glad things are working out for Susu too.
Yes forbidden man and I are going well. Not living together and not likely to be for a very long time as we're getting on fine as we are (both of us like our own space)
We do argue now and again as we're both stubborn but I like a challenge
Yes my debts are going the right way so I'm pleased with that.

Things are fine. I'm not really in debt (well except for student loan) so trying to save up for a flat. I'm trying to organise my saving a bit better and stop spending so much cash on rubbish.
I'm also trying to make some extra money with matched betting. It seems to be going ok so far!I've got my own flat :j:j

What an enviable position to be in. I don't even count my student loan as part of debt (yet). I'd be horrified with the total figure if I did
Anyway, my One Debt vs 100 days challenge is going very well. Only another £789.03 extra to find
I'm think I'm going to open a new alliance & leicester account through quidco so that will give me an extra £145 eventually. Won't do that till I get back from holiday though.
Also need to ebay more stuff which I still get demoralised about. I hate listing, love watching as the bids go up, hate packing and posting and especially hate the inevitable 'I didn't receive it' email.
To ensure I don't get that email I post everything recorded delivery which is expensive.
Still, I need to think of the decluttering and extra money I will have...LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Not a good month for me sadly. I had two holidays, and a couple of emergencies that have meant that I am in a bit more debt now. I have also been spending on my catalogue as I'm fed up of always wearing the same clothes every year. Not good at all

So I have had to put £104 on my Mint Card and I have £252.81 o/s on my catalogue account.
Signature updated and wrist well and truly slapped.

Hi RMR... I know exactly what you mean about the whole clothes thing, I have hardly any. I was even wearing 3/4 length jeans the other day when it was cold and wet because the only pair of jean I have were in the wash. I am so tempted to have a blow out on the credit card but unfortunately I think that blow out is going to have to go on the car as its giving me alot of hassle at the moment. So that'll be a few more months without any decent clothes, I think it's all I'm going to ask for at xmas as its what I desperately need.
