All those people who have joined in this thread to post POINTLESS, PUERILE, IRRELEVANT rubbish then please go away.
This thread is a serious comment and discussion of a very upsetting and controversial editorial decision that was made this morning.
Only please post relevant comments please.
Too many stupid, crass supposedly fiunny comments have been made and they stink!
If you are not involved then butt out...
Best follow your own advice then :rolleyes:0 -

I quite agree. My view is that the 'editorial' decision was correct......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

My next assigment is to find the old style board without links :rotfl:
Type in "Stardrops" or "microfibre cloth" and the board will find you itself."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
I've only ever posted one topic on DT - it quickly degenerated into a slanging match and then into some geezer posting conspiracy links saying British intelligence agencies were behind the Mumbai attacks. I think it's still going on - I unsubscribed in the end.
Well yes there is a lot of rubbish going on there, as I said, but if you stick around you get the gist of what threads are frequented by level headed peeps ant which ones aren't. Then again, any thread anywhere in the whole forum can degenerate.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Could you please define, with examples, POINTLESS, PUERILE, IRRELEVANT rubbish? You'd make an old lady very happy...
Obviously the irelevant inane 'jokes', and off topic comments.
This thread MUST be kept on topic as it is far too serious to descend into stupidity (even tho some trolls and others would like i to).0 -
Trolls ? Where ?.................

Could you please give examples as I asked for in my original post?
As someone who uses stardrops and microfibre cloths and is, really, very old in age and style, I need to know what is classed as an inane 'joke' and off topic comments.....
I would also like a clear definition of what is meant by 'on topic'.
But maybe I'm asking too much...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
