Re. flat in Penge guide price £20,000. Never bid without inspecting the property. It's sold in a different auction 6 months later for £46,000. The area itself is very nice BUT the building is uninhabitable! Most of the flats are empty as a result. There have been attempts to remanage the building but as of 09/2009, the state of the building is of 'disused building'.

Loads of bargins at auctions that need refurb, but the cheap house that are ready to move in are the real indication of things.
