yeah, thats pretty good indeed mrse. id be perfectly happy with a terrace like that or an ex council.
hethmar, although it im not 100% convinced the weymouth house will not be back available soon (but who knows, its a good price atm), there are loads and loads of those ex council houses in weymouth that have been sitting on rightmove for a year or more between £130-£170k. im hoping they will drop quite a bit further tbh. plus id quite like a really ratty one i can do up

I quite like Weymouth though I was told some areas are quite rough?
My dream would be in a nice Sussex village with a sea view
Roll on lottery win.
Good luck0 -
well, rough for dorset yeah... not rough in national terms by any means i wouldnt say? but then, im old skool chavI quite like Weymouth though I was told some areas are quite rough?

, so maybe i dont notice :rotfl:
no, to be fair, the houses im looking at you probably wouldnt want to retire to- its not going to be idyllic countryside, or seaside retreat, youd easily pay double to get that
but hey, it suits me, i intend to send my ferral kids out on the streets with baseball bats, setting fire to the neighbours cars on the day i finally move in somewhere... mark the territory init
if i win the lottery, ill be at a greenhill or bowleaze cove mansion on weymouth bay (i love sussex too, so ill buy a second home there

You thinking of buying around there? The last time I was in Offerton (91), I stayed over at a school-friend's flat in Victoria Park (if you know the area.. away from the car showrooms, past the petrol station on the left, up the hill a bit, on the right.. with the big green and trees).
We stepped out to find a film crew and lots of actor types hanging about. They were filming Prime Suspect (1) in the flat immediately next door. It was the killer's flat.

No not looking in Offerton, I'm waiting (a long time) for housing to be affordable in Macclesfield at the moment. How come all the gritty dramas etc are filmed up near Manchester.. Rock Street m7 is another example.0 -
