This is the positive of living in a bungalow, no neighbours annoying us, no stairs to drag things up.

I'm 100% with you there Gemmzie. Poole has lots of bungalows and both my houses have been bungalows and I've loved it. Detached, loft space to play with to have an upstairs if youwant, most bungalows are on decent size plots, no stairs.

I always remember my niece, the first time she visited me and asked where the stairs were (she was about 3) !! She was very confused!!

I'm so mad, I've just posted on another board and the sheer sarcastic comments I have received back for my posts have made by blood boil.

I'm staying here in the debt free zone, the people are much nicer here. Maybe here I will have opinions that people don't feel the need to put down I hope.

It's great when you feel like everything is caving in on you here that people will still have a go.

Anyway, thought I would come on for some decent chat, hope everyone is well :o

that tree at my old house is stunning. Me and my ex bought it from B+Q the year before we split. It was £60  and we thought it was a 'bargain' as it was reduced from £120    . Definitely the old 'me' - I would blanche at spending £20 on a new tree these days!

It's one of those with all the individual branches. It's a swine though as it 'fights back' when you try to hook them all on and you end up with loads of scratches on your arms.

    Hi,

I know what you mean, I didn't get custody of the trees, god knows what he did with all three of them! :rotfl:

In the shops yesterday, I put back a £17 tree as I felt it was frivolous! :rotfl: :o

  • Hey PinkTwirl,
I dont often venture away from the safety zone of DFW-I get scaaaared!

that's brill news Gem! What a nice New Years present.

Sally-I went to the Spa when we went to Longleat but I went alone-it was lush but I felt a bit of a billy no mates-so DH suggested we go together! I was shocked but have booked it now so no going back, lol. We can swim in the outdoor pool together under the stars, will be very nice. ;)
