Z, that was cheerful reading, I still can't get my head round the idea of getting the banks to lend more and pass on a reduced rate, when they still have to pay savers fixed interest rates  wasn't that what Northern Rock tried to do, and look what happened to them.

Northern Rock ran out of funding. With the BoE funding every bank, they will never run out of funding - hence no problem.

Went to see a rock band in local pub which was really rough but quite enjoyed it.

Must have been bad if you thought it was rough... ;)

BB whats the deal with the new job applications?

    Lou - it's

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=16487379&postcount=115

and my ex telling me this morning his school need a part time ICT teacher and also possibly a (very) part time Drama teacher (might get some use out of my drama degree after all, it's only 17 years since I graduated!)

I also applied on Wed. for a job that uses my experience perfectly but is out of my experience in others, but for the salary (26-29k) was worth it to stay at the authority!

Just a couple of strange fate things really that seem to have blown in my direction this week and match well with me trying to move up from my current admin job before we all move offices next summer.
