My tree went up magically by itself yesterday. My only involvement was chucking a bit of tinsel at it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • you too have a clever family Spud. My kids 'helped' me put the tree up, then once they had gone to bed, I reditributed the decorations all over the tree instead of the one spot they could reach, lol

That's what I used to do when mine were little Bunny - In the past I've spent evenings between putting it up and twelfth night trying to make it look OK:rotfl: :rotfl:

It looks OK, not as classy as Charlie's tree, but we like it :D

that tree at my old house is stunning. Me and my ex bought it from B+Q the year before we split. It was £60  and we thought it was a 'bargain' as it was reduced from £120    . Definitely the old 'me' - I would blanche at spending £20 on a new tree these days!

It's one of those with all the individual branches. It's a swine though as it 'fights back' when you try to hook them all on and you end up with loads of scratches on your arms.

That sounds like my tree BB which was about £60 nine years ago! I suppose it has been worth the money as it still looks fab - not up yet though! it's still a bit early for me and I need to build up my courage to face the spiders...

Hope you hear something soon Spud. You are all starting to sound a bit better - is the lurgy passing?

  • Ah yes, I see now BB.

We have a lovely fake tree-everyone always complients us on it-it looks very real-I can't remember what we paid for it but tbh, even if it was £60+ we've had it for 7 or more years so good value for money.

    guess what?

the kids and I are still in our pj's, lol!:o
