Thanks.. it does seem like terrible timing, and I am thinking about putting it off till after Christmas, it's not as if we're spending it together anyway, and the way things are going at the moment we may only see each other once before then. I'm finding it very strange that I've gone from thinking he's the only person I ever want to be with to thinking 'hmmm maybe not'...

Has something happened to make you feel that way or was it just a realisation? IF you're feeling down in general maybe that's clouding things a bit?

If you're sure though I would say, from experience, that having it hanging over you is very wearing and its probably better dealt with sooner rather than later...

I think you were still away the other day when I was on here rambling - he phoned me up last weekend and told me it was over, for a long string of reasons.. and then changed his mind and acted like nothing had happened. It's been ongoing for a while that he'll say he's fed up and unsure about things and I've felt like I'm always having to talk him round and prove that I'm good enough. Last weekend I was really upset but it was like something clicked in my head, and I've admitted to myself that I've not really been happy either - I'm fed up with putting my life on hold and believing promises that never happen.
