Daily Chat Thread - Its Friday 05/12 - Woohoo!!

Morning all - I cant sleep again. My stupid swollen face is still hurting and now my jaw has locked. At least it is good for my diet - cant open my mouth wide enough to get anything in

Off to work shortly, might as well take advantage of being up early and get some work done.

Hope everyone has a great Friday - see you all tonight x x x

    Morning all :hello:

Sorry you're not feeling any better Pingu. So long as you can squeeze a straw between your teeth for a medicinal vino or 6 though...

Some, shall we say, 'mild discomfort' in back today... Actually in flucking agony but
a)I don't want Hubbles to flap, and
b)I need to get stuff in town
So we're going to pretend its not there and go to work anyway...

Want to get jelly straining kit and jars to make cranberry and orange jelly stocking fillers. Also doing cranberry vodka for the girlies.

    morning all.

Seems we are all suffering - my back has flared up a bit this morning which I would say is as a result of slipping in the park the other day, it always takes a few days to 'kick in'. I've loaded myself up with drugs though, so I'll be fine.

Off on a training course this morning about how the appraisal system works. Really don't think I'll gain much from it.

Anyway, everyone have a good day, I'll see you this afternoon.

Just having a mooch about on quidco and Thorntons have a 25% off all products and the boxes of chocs are 3 for 2.

These double layer Xmas chocolates are half price so that would mean I would get 3 boxes for £11.67, I think thats good for thorntons.

Just need to find a free delivery code now.

    Morning All
Been pouring with rain here again this morning although it seems to have cleared and I am ready to head out for a run once I drop DD at school. Haven't been all week and am feeling guilty (that and the ton of crap I have eaten...again)

Not much on for us today, have been invited to go to afriends house (her dd is the same age as Bea) for lunch and then to do something but I really can't be bothered. Friday is my only day I don't have to do something so just want to chill, wrap christmas presents and get the cards written.

Right hope everyone who is ill, Penguin, Luc, BB feel better. Lou will be keeping my fingers crossed for you at 10am (start phoning at 9:50)

    Have a good day everyone

  • Morning all,
DH and I are off to a wedding today (all Firefighters dressed up, anyone want to come???;)) and I had my hair done last night-bleached the roots and put a toner on...however toner has turned hair a lovely hue of apricot. I kid you not. So, later, I are mainly be washing hair loads of times to try and get it out. *sigh*

Tomorrow, I am going Christmas shopping alone then meeting up with a friend-really CAN'T WAIT.

Sunday, I will mostly be recovering.
