I think you were still away the other day when I was on here rambling - he phoned me up last weekend and told me it was over, for a long string of reasons.. and then changed his mind and acted like nothing had happened. It's been ongoing for a while that he'll say he's fed up and unsure about things and I've felt like I'm always having to talk him round and prove that I'm good enough. Last weekend I was really upset but it was like something clicked in my head, and I've admitted to myself that I've not really been happy either - I'm fed up with putting my life on hold and believing promises that never happen.

    Big hugs Squizz. :grouphug:

While you're thinking of having this big pow-wow, why don't you write down what you liked about this guy, and what you like now. And write down what you disliked about him, and what you dislike now. Then you can see if things are moving in the right direction.

Sometimes, we all suffer from what's called "recent event syndrome" where something is deemed to be important just because it's the last thing that has happened. His dumping by phone is important, but it might not be as important as other things - so grill him about it.

You do, after all, have nothing to lose by putting your cards on the table, so you might as well explore the issue to the depth you want.

Deep breaths BOB. And start from the beginning. What has he done? Is he taking you for granted? Or is he taking the rise?

I can't think of anything good to say BB so I won't say anything at all... makes a change I know!

I can think of loads of things to say, but I'll wait until they are devastatingly witty.

So don't be holding your breath...
DS is sitting around stuffing his face but for some reason he's wearing only camouflage thermals and looks like a scary, skinny child soldier! minus gun of course but what happened to my cute wee baby?

Is the camouflage an effort to make him heard but not seen?

Arrgghh! My boiler has broken down, no heating or hot water for us. Anyone know how much it costs to get someone to come and look at a boiler? *sob* x x
