    Looks like a cold night ahead.

    OH has removed a piece of old gas pipe that stuck up in the living room,went to the plumbers merchant and the 'cap' needed isn't in stock. Wont be until tomorrow apparently so I can't have the gas on. No heating or hot water.

    I am definitely going out then!

    there is much huffing, puffing, swearing and 'I need a different spanner' going on........


    why don't you go to his house BB if you've no heating and water.... ???

    Of course - don't you? We have 2 'sick' codes - one for doctors appointments etc and one for poorly in bed days (or duvet days:rolleyes: )
