Well there's a downer. One of my main clients is taking their tax business elsewhere. The financial director changed at the start of the year and the partner has been on eggshells since but its still a bit depressing. That's a good 50% 0f my workload. Maybe redundancy is a possibility for me now:confused:

you posted a while ago that you were daydreaming about redundancy, and it wouldn't be without it's own financial rewards, and who knows how you'll feel when bean sprouts.... it could be a good thing...

but it's not on the cards, and worrying about it won't make any difference to outcome......

It was just a daydream though. Until debts are cleared there's no way I can give up working full time. Problem is my expertise is in larger corporate clients and they don't seem to be picking any new ones up so there's not going to be anything to plug the gap with. Added to that is the fact that a couple of the partners are proper old school men and think women are carp and unreliable and I have to fight to get and keep every client on my portfolio:confused:

Oh, I don't know. Ignore me and my drivel
