I'm just beginning to wonder, reading some of the posts on this and other threads, as to whether we should indeed do something more positive.
For example, think of the Baby P case and the recent poppy day.
Maybe we should, instead of throwing poppies away, continue to wear them in memory of baby P. We could call them Pop Pees?0 -

Clearly, the owner of this business is a Mr (or Mrs) Cornish Pasty. The sign merely denotes that the shop belongs to him (or her).

I've given up worrying about apostrophes - at least the word is the same.
What gets me is the number of people who think that the word 'have' is spelt 'of'0
