Welcome to MSE
and thank you.
I was wondering if it would be illegal for him to have installed it in the first place. Aparantly the boiler is brand new (according to LL and LA and the 'plumbers' story seemed to confirm this) but the person that done the gas safety check seemed to think it wasn't that new and that the wardrobe had been built around it.
I asked my LL today before the 'plumber' came if he was actually a proper plumber and he said yes, but since they are good friends he must know. I just feel sorry for the next person that rents this place. It's a nice enough place but everything that can go wrong does and the LA/LL aren't brilliant at sorting anything.
Can't you send your OH to fix my washing machine now? :rotfl:
lol 'apparently' he 'don't do washing washing machines' - he gets offended if you call him a plumber (mind you I would to if I had all the extra qualifications he has) :rotfl:
If only he could though. My tenants have just moved out of my little cottage. I had bought them another washing machine a couple of years ago as the one in there had gone wrong - two weeks later it was out in the back garden as 'granddad' had bought them a new one. Needless to say it does not work anymore :mad:0 -

See, you should have sent it up here
(I say up here, most people are in England)
I'll move into your little cottage instead? :rotfl:
Ah roll on Feb :TJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
I think it is an utter disgrace that you do not have a mop. You should be jailed for that. You deserve everything you got.
:rotfl:
Next place, buy a bleedin mop, just in case you need a plumber
I agree. Some people in this world just have no idea do they?
:rotfl:
Mmmmmm, I have an electrician coming out today, I wonder what household implement I should be looking to have around. I'd hate to be the cause of all that is wrong just because I didn't have the required item.

Lol....as it happens, he's just been and what was sat in the corner of the kitchen? Yip, a sweeping brush.:rotfl:
That'll be why he was in and out in 10 minutes having fixed my problem easily.
See Drea, you learn something new every day...you'll know the next time.

The plumber was listening outside your flat after he gave you gip about your housekeeping??......Where are your heavy bottom pans?
Drea you need a flatmate, a boy/girlfriend or a guard dog
If you had a mop you you could have shoved it through the letterbox and bashed him on the earIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh dear sat here crying with laughter.
My OH says it is a shame you didn't have a mop, as you could of rammed it through the letter box at the 'plumber' as he say listening in!!
