Disneystore

Hey guys, thanks for your comments. The thing that really annoys me is that the delivery charge between stores is a pound more than that to have it delievered to my home off the internet store.
Worst thing about the whole fiasco is that it's been well over a week now since I spoke to them and I have heard nothing since. I'm going to brave the shops tomorrow I think and ask in store if they have received it, because I'm panicing slightly, as I move back to my hometown for Christmas on Monday, and as there seems to be nothing yet I don't know what to do, I'd give the VIP line a call, but I can't dial out because I can't pay my bill, and the VIP line doesn't open again until Monday morning....no doubt I'll end up not getting one, or having to pay two charges to have it sent on to the Norwich store from the Leicester one and will also have to drive all the way to Norwich to collect!!
I am not a happy bunny!!!0 -
Oh yes, I'm not an expert because I don't have children, it's a Christmas prezzie for my frinds little boys...I didn't phone Mothercare because if the item is big he'll grow into it and it will last a bit longer...nowhere other than the Disneystore seem to do lightning McQueen Dressing gowns, only Rory the Racing car, but me friends boy likes MacQueen, and that is what he shall have!!
I think tha covers it all.....going into the store tomorrow, lets hope I get something from them!!0 -
I had no choice but to buy the wrong size. It should be the right size but looks very small to me, and as some people have said previously on here that Disneystore clothes are small...they didn't have a larger size in stock. I'm not after compensation, I just don't want to be charged more for delivery between stores than to have something delivered to my home address.
I just want the item I ordered about 2 weeks ago...and I certainly wont be paying if I then have to badger them and drive to Norwich when I get home instead of nipping into Leicester and being back home all in half hour...no petrol required!!0 -
Good luck & fingers crossed for tomorrow!:D0

Why thanks....but alas it seems the good luck didn't reach me in time.
I decided not to go into town today, but instead managed to borrow a phone and give them a quick call....and I was told that on speaking to guest relations they reserved the item for me, but never heard anything back from them to say whether or not I wanted it....I was told they didn't have one and one would have to be ordered in...
I was also told by the Leicester store that they haven't received anything in for me either....I don't know what store it was coming from, so can't ring that store to see if it was sent for a bit of ammo.....Leicester store claim it's nothing to do with them and that I should contact guest relations as it's their problem, but guess what, guest relations aren't oprn until Monday.
Only stroke of luck I have had is that I realised that I will be taking my Nan to Gatwick on Friday, so could possibly collect one from Lakeside, Bluewater or Romford on Friday....However as I bought the original one on 19th Nov, and it was sold out in Leicester, and unavailable on-line a few days later, I don't hold much hope that those stores will still have one... Anyway, I have emailed the rents to ask them to call them all for me, because I don't have a phone. Feel it would be a bit cheeky to borrow friends one again as he's on Pay as you talk, and doesn't have any free minutes... Parents are probably out and about doing shopping or doing DIY, and not even thinking about checking their emails!
I'm really really peeved, think I might write a letter of complaint, and post it to them on Monday....0
