that's great news. it will help with that difficult period just after xmas when we never have any money
And we all live in a society btw. that means that we all give and take in different ways and at different times according to ability. if you're not happy having your taxes spent on my benefits then go live on an island by yourself.0 -
Wasn't it stated that the £60 would be paid at some point between January and March, wouldn't like people to think they were definately getting it in January if that is not the caseOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Why complain about a bonus payment. It is just that - a bonus - that does not have to be given out at all.
I'd much rather see the DLA and Carers rates (in particular) being increased than bonus payments being made.0 -
What an ungrateful lot you are! That £10 bonus kept me going all last week, the other option was to be totally skint for the week. I'm grateful for £10 being put in my bank for "no reason" and am looking forward to getting an extra £60 as well
So stop moaning and count your blessings................................
Merry ChristmasKEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -

I suppose you would. But bear in mind that over 65's, pensioners, do not qualify for carers allowances or DLA and many, disabled or not, are trying to live on a small fixed income.
These bonus payments can be a godsend. See some of the above posts.0 -

At what point did I say that bonus payments are a bad thing? Or that I wanted anybody, whether pensioners or not, to be worse off?!0
