Thanks crazychatter and rainmac. Good luck to you both with the Christmas stalls.

craftlady my goodness you've been a busy bee. I hope you do really well with the sale. Let us know how it goes.
  • I`m keen to run a craft stall this year at some point and the small craft market run in my town is disappointing ( with manufactured goods rather than handmade items). The only thing that worries me is paying £35 for a pitch and having to make that back first before any profit is made.... but I am aware this is a risk to take.

So how many of us are doing 'Easter Markets' After the success of all the fantastic Christmas sales I bet there a few of us? We have ours on 28th March. We couldn't find any being run locally so we set up our own:D . Now I'm starting to panic - is anyone going to turn up. Could be just a bunch of stall holders drinking coffee and sitting round all day:eek: .

    So far I have done:
28 Bunny Flannel (reindeers in disguise)
    14 Beer Glasses
    26 Sock Muffins
    18 Swiss Rolls
    11 Creme Egg Chicks
64 Carrots (filled with mini eggs)

still more to go......

    What everyone else doing?

Wow you certainly have been busy!!!
Good luck with the craft stalls and good on you for organising your own.

    Hi,
I,m new on here so still catching up on everything,

I,m hoping to do a stall at christmas for Leukeamia reseach and was wondering what shrinkies keyrings are?

Also any idea for stall would be great as this will be first time i do it--i plan on selling knitted toys (santa, mrs santa. clarance the post box, mr and mrs snowman, football snowmen, and little tree ornaments) takes me ages to knit so am doing them now,
Also plan on selling kids old toys on as most are still new when they finish with them, doing cakes, flannel reindeers, and will do a tombolla.
How do i work out what quanitys to make--or is that just guess work??.

Also how do you get a stall at school fetes? is it just a case of asking?

    Thanks
    Sue

    Hi all,

Thick question alert! How do I add a photo? I'm really struggling. I've made some cakes I'm really proud of and would love to show you all, but can't for the life of me work out how to add a pic that's not from the web?

    Thanks all!

Oh thanks Rusty!! Glad I wasn't just missing something really simple. I'd never have worked that out on my own!

    Thanks again!
