Oooh yey it worked! Thanks again Rusty! The above is one of a few cakes I made for mother's day actually, but I thought they looked quite eastery when they were made so plan to do more for Easter, maybe with mini eggs etc.

    Hi,
I,m new on here so still catching up on everything,

I,m hoping to do a stall at christmas for Leukeamia reseach and was wondering what shrinkies keyrings are?

Shrinkies keyrings are this special type of plastic it has pre printed designs on and you colour them in or in my case get ur kids to colour them in :rotfl:then you use a heat gun to shrink them to size. You can buy them from most craft places now like these

Thanks for the compliments! The cakes seemed to go down really well with my Mum (we had them after dinner so all got chance to taste them etc). I'm normally RUBBISH at making things look pretty (there's a standing joke among the family about a picture of an Easter chick I once tried to draw when I was about 8 and was proud of till my big brother pointed out chicks don't have human feet with toes!), but was quite proud of these for once. They seemed to taste good too, despite my misreading the ingredients list and adding 2 TABLESPOONS of vanilla extract instead of teaspoons!!

Anyway, here are the pics in full for you all to nosy at:

And finally, all wrapped up with ribbon
