You seem to have this thing with Perky, every post you write is about him.
A little like Postman, Recriminator and a couple of others on the 'poo' site, I dont just mean mentioning him from time to time but EVERY post.
Whats your connection ?0 -
Oh dear, touchy, touchy. Remember, therealdeal, you are not Perky and in fact have "no connection with a parking company" so why does it bother you so much? All your posts are supporting PPCs and attacking Pepipoo. One could easily ask what is yout fixation, if it were not already obvious.0

It does not bother me, I am just asking questions to which you never seem to answer.
I am not supporting any parking company, I have a right to put my viewpoint across on this forum as this is an open forum with people who have open minds.
The post by stethomas shows that not all advice given by the other forums is good, recent members have come from that site and seem to be determined to point everyone from MSE to that site with the guarentee they can help when they can actually cause more problems.
BTW ... A question is awaiting an answer from you

Hear on the industry grapevine that Dale and CT doing very well. Young, good lucking and successful. Maybe something to aspire to eh Perky? Well one out of three anyway. Or maybe it is that he does not spend all day and night trolling consumer forums. I'm thinking of starting a Trolls Anonymous - "I'm Mr P and I'm a troll". An addiction like this cannot be healthy.0

I wonder if anyone is able to offer some advice?
My car was clamped in central London last month by a private company. After doing some research I realised there is no SIA number on the ticket or on the company's website. I also searched for this private company on SIA website and it appears they do not have a license.
Will this point alone be sufficient to make a claim as Martin's guide only briefly touched on this stating it's a requirement but doesn't go into any further details.
Thanks

What about the name of the clamper? It is the clamper who must be licensed. Check him out on the SIA website.0 -

Well on the receipt, where he has put his name, it's unreadable it's basically just like an initial of his first name and a signature. So I don't have a full name of the clamper to find this...0 -
I parked in kfc car park and was fined £75 if i paid within 14days if not it would have been £150 fine.
i was over my time for using this car park but did use kfc.
is there any way i can get my money back? if so how?
this forum was not set up intime and i could not afford to ignore it as it looked official0 -
Hi Everyone:D
Gotta quick query re a UKPC parking fine incurred in Dec 08. Think I know, and am sure of, the answer and what to do, but OH is getting twitchy about increased threat and costs. He wants me to pay up.
Took my original advice off this forum, it was pre the specific private parking guide, so I didnt appeal (poor signage)/deny/refute being driver.
I sent the "template" letter, linked to the parking fines forum, re contractual law, asking them for evidence etc.
My letter was ignored by UKPC, they just sent another demand, increasing the fine, as I'd then missed the 14 day deadline for the smaller fine.
Then got a letter from debt agents, which I ignored, as per forum advice.
Two messages left on my ansa phone from debt agents, which I ignored.
Now got letter from their solicitors: "notice of intended legal action" with additional and asscociated costs added.
Am I right in thinking I should just sit tight?0 -

And tell your OH not to be gutless.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0
