And would pay a reasonable charge for an infraction if it was sensible.

    You are joking...aren't you???

I think most people wouldn't mind having to pay £5 - £10 to be allowed out of a barrier system if 'caught' using a retail car park when they'd just gone off to a footie match or something. That's if the money went to the landowner/retailer or their chosen charity.

It's the third party protection racket by greedy PPCs that we all hate so much. What the fk use are they at all - is there any industry more pointless and moneygrabbing in the UK - they pride themselves in providing NO service and producing NO product yet are rolling in cash?!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To many of you....please don't add self-justification to your hypocrisy.

Take my post for what it was....a generalised take on this board

If bits didn't apply to you...then fine, ignore them. Please don't feel the need to rush to point out how you don't fit the generalisation.

If you want to make some generalisations then fine, but it would be useful to have some basis on which to make your claims.

Feel free to give some examples to back up your ill-informed opinion

I love this sort of internet forum post.

It's saying, here is my opinion which I am free to write down but please don't respond. Not quite the 'general' idea. ;)

    HTH you understand the forum.

It seems you are the one in need of help understanding the forum.

Use a dictionary to help you.

    Look up "money" and "saving".

Ah, the irony in your posting is exquisite, truly exquisite.

Not quite... I said this was a generalisation/flavour and [by implication] not directed at anyone person in particular. Yet people rush to point out the generalisation isn't applicable to them.

The nature of a generalisation is that it pretty much isn't applicable to 100% of the members 100% of the time...so why do people feel personally affronted??

So you don't agree with any of the points??? That's bizarre [imo].

Do I need to give examples for all the points I raise or could you point out the 'ill-informed' ones [iyo]??

You stated in a previous post that the "general feeling" was anti-landowner and anti-paying for parking.

If that is the feeling you get from these posts then I am surprised as it is certainly not one I share.

Who is anti landowner and anti paying for parking? ( I know I asked already but never got a reply)
