Surely not cheating if you referance?0

I think zara means cheating as in not getting it from the journal itself?
Possibly?0 -

Thanks everyone... I managed to finish it tonight and although it really is awful it will pass (I hope). I've no idea how im going to manage the exams, but tonight im relaxing.
Thanks for the the thought Xara but I'm not daft enough to do this as my tutor is one of the staff member responsible for the software which scans papers for correlation against the web and 100's of online sources, if your correlation is high enough to be noticed you would be very sorry!

'Cheating' as in not getting the information from the journal itself maybe i should have said taking a short cut. But by using books you can get an idea of how to critically analyse it and what differing opinions are on the issue. Im doing masters in psychology now i dont think id have got this far by plagarising. Your only searching the books for relevant research, as long as you word it in your own words and refrence it properly your tutor cant say anything. Your expected to read books aswell as relevant journals. Google just makes it easier to because it searches your keywords through the text.0

If you're really stuck then go and see your supervisor about starting material. High-level book 'chapters' are papers written by people who do the research and referenced to papers as if it were a journal article. It's really worth seeing if you can get hold of them if they exist - final year project (genetics) would be a LOT harder if I had to find original papers as a sole source...

Glad you got it done Jen. :T
I've been ill the last couple of days, and so haven't been online, but have wondered a few times if you'd got it done.
Does that make me a bit sad...? :think:0 -
