  • Thanks FireFox, I have created an SOA now :j . I am not goin to post it just yet :o but it has made me think of a lot. I spend a lot of money on food, as i tend to buy my lunch everyday and eat a lot of junk food. I am goin to try and bring my lunch to work everyday and cut well down on the junk, although am addicted to cream eggs .

Anyway, today i have paid £250 off my CC :ji got a bit of money i didnt expect and paid it straght off and u know what it felt really good.
Although the cc company charged me £36.81 interest, so i am goin to try and get that money from somewhere before the end of the month.

Pay day today week, so that will be another chunk off .

Katie, I think the payment a day sounds really good, but am goin to keep goin as i am at the moment. If i start to slip i will join it thanks.

Have a nice day. Friday yippee.

  • It is pay day today  that has been a long month  .
Anyway I am going to pay £486.81 off my cc today and that will bring it down to a nice round sum of £3800, below the 4 grand :j. I hope to pay off at least another £200 by the end of Feb, havent worked out how yet so that should be fun :D. My NSDs for Jan were pathetic, i only managed 1 :o. So i will aim for 8 again in February, im going to try hard this month, although i do only spend a small amount on coffee most days 35p per cup, but it all adds up and i have a jar of coffee in work with me so i have no excuses.

    Have a nice weekend :hello:

well done in paying off that much of your egg card.
why don't you put the 35p in a jar everytime you make your own coffee at work then you will see how much you spend on it in month

  • I have saved my coppers and silver and counted and bagged it and it came to the grand total of £41, so i have added £9 to it and paid £50 of my card today. Although they have added on interest yuk, so the grand total is now £3782.53. I would really like to have it down to £3500 before the end of the month, but not sure if that is possible. Well i might as well try :-)

  • Pay Day is on Friday yippee. I was looking at old cc statements and realised that at the start of Jan my CC balance was £5106. Just wanted to post that, so i can look back in a few months and see how much i have really paid off :j. The balance is £3782.53 at the moment. I am aiming for £750 per month plus the interest for that month.
I am 30 in July and really want it paid off by then. It is not goin to be easy, but i like a challenge :j.

  • Well today is pay day :j. I have paid £682.53 off the CC today:T. £400 of that is from pay and the 282.53 is money that was not used in Feb (out of the joint), i am real pleased with the amount i have paid off, am still on target to the debt free by my 30th b'day in July.
Thing is i still have to pay off a further £350 plus interest in March. But will just have to tighten the belt (even further). My balance is now £3100. Looking forward to it getting below 3k .

    Also its friday  .

  • Its Pay day again, :j gosh has that been a long month  . Well i paid off 785.02 to the cc today. My balance is now £2350. By the end of April I have to find a further £350 to get the balance at £2000. That will be nice (if i can get it!!).
I keep thinking of what i could be doing with the money, but it is my own fault so i just have to keep plugging away. Im still on target to be debt free by my 30th in July, fingers crossed.:T

  • Arghh, well the washing machine has died . We have to buy a new one, but my mum has very kindly offered to buy it for us. She is an angel. I feel really bad letting her buy it but she insisted. When i am debt free (hopefully July) i will buy her a nice present to say thanks. Also our oil has ran out. I am thinking of waiting til July to get more in, the weather is better and i do think we could live without it. I suppose we could get it at the start of May, but things would be very tight... decisions.

Anyway, i still have to pay £350 by the end of this month, but think i can do that (if nothing else goes worng ) although i am left with nothing for the rest of them month, so that will be a challenge :rotfl:.

July is nearly here, i really hope i am DF by then. I think i am becoming obsessed with it :rotfl:.

    Have a nice day:beer:
