Hi, I used two £4 Rembrandt coupons, with different bar codes, and SA was cool about it. Did a fair bit of shopping but she looked at every voucher so I am sure noticed. Till was very happy and no need to override.0 -
There's a voucher for £2.50 off £10 healthcare inside the vitamin C sachets that they are currently giving away when you buy any cough / cold relief product. Could be handy for anyone wanting to stock up on nit treatment / teething stuff etc
Too tired to go and check -- keeping up with all the posts takes time but is strangely addictive! -- but I think these have or had a delayed start time as the first time I tried to use one it was before their starting date. So check that out before trying to use.0 -
I had to cold turkey off Boots this year. Did well..9months then back now with OOTW (split the 3 between me and neighbours) but have learnt a bargain is only a bargain if you need it. On the up side i havent bought new toiletries for about 2 years

Hi everybody-I haven't posted here for at least 2 months now but I'm back.
Tried to wean myself off spending ridiculous amounts in boots but it didn't actually work-also had a few probs with internet connection & had few things going on in life so didn't even have time.ANyway just thought I would add that the points offer is working again on the girard giftsets which are halfprice.
Do you get the extra points instore too?0 -
but have learnt a bargain is only a bargain if you need it.
I totally agree, otherwise its a waste.
I have resisted a lot of todays offers ie 3 perfume sets for £23.** and 1500 points back.
I dont need the points, and come to mention it i dont need the perfume either.
SO im my logic the money is better of in my pocket than on my AC.
I think i should also got cold turkey with this thread.
It keeps me awake at night and its getting that bad im dreaming about .com and adding items to my cart. Its a good job i live a fair distance from my nearest boots.
All i really need now are a few gifts/items for men but there dont seem to be any on .com at the moment, ohh and some items for a hamper for the very old little lady who lives in the flat below us. Then thats my xmas shopping over.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
im thinking if the perfume sets are still there on thursday I'll get them (i have 2 people i can give them to - teeny girls!) as I'll be getting OOTW (one for me, one for neighbour, one for aunty - we split the cost)

I know from previous posts that there are those of us who know from first-hand experience just how busy the women's refuges are at Christmas.
You can find the public telephone numbers of a refuge near you here where you can arrange to make a donation of some of your Boots stash.
Don't forget that most of these ladies will have left home with only their children and the clothes they were wearing, nothing else, so everything is welcome particularly the basics such as soap, shampoo, nappies and children's toiletries.
Of course it's a year round project and they are also happy to accept donations of clothing and used furniture for those who are setting up a new home at all times of the year.
Absolutely. I don't have first hand experience, thankfully, but do know about this from work. Geordie lass is absolutely right about the kids stuff - nappies never come in wrong at shelters - particularly the bigger sizes (eg size 4 and bigger) for anyone thinking of giving a load of size 1 huggies!!0
