Super***g will have the 41H65397PAL._SL500_AA280_.jpgBabyliss Pro Speed Hair Dryer reduced from £24.99 to £1.99 xmas eve online and boxing day in store. It is the one I use and is very powerful and nice to hold, i'm hoping to get a spare in case mine goes!

I had a totally fantastic albeit slightly sneaky shop in Boots today (sneakiness not my fault...read on!)

My Dad who is the hardest person in the world to buy Christmas presents for came round today and said that he would like an electric toothbrush...perfect I thought, half price on Braun toothbrushes in Boots and use the 10% off voucher I was e-mailed the other day too. Also had to take some nappies back that I got on the online glitch but DS is too big to fit into anymore so needed to get larger size instead.

So, took back 4 packs of nappies and got money put on a giftcard as needed to get loads of other stuff.

    Then bought:

    2 x Pampers Wipes on Bogof (£1.95)
Oral B electric toothbrush reduced from 68.49 to 34.25 but the 10% voucher took off 10% of the original price so another £6.85 off
Bourgois tweezers (£2.89 but used £2 bluey)
Sanctuary gift set that my other half needed to get for his secret santa at work (so like the Boots advert at the moment!) (19.58...sure we could have done better there but he was losing the will to live at this point!)
Duracell Battery Charger for his Dad (£15.65)
    Huggies Little Walkers (£5.98)
    Pampers active fit (5.99)
John Frieda serum (£1.95...free with Bluey)
    Free Pampers Changing bag

Well, went to pay and had so many vouchers for nappies etc that just handed them all over and let the SA try them...well the till ended up accepting £15 worth of various money off nappies and wipes coupons that I ended up getting these free theoretically. Then handed over the giftcard with the refunded nappies on there and it took £15 off my shopping (somehow the 4 packs of nappies that I took back that are actually on 2 for 6 but I paid a pound a pack for on the online glitch were refunded at their full price each of £3.75!)

After all that I had to pay £47.43...couldn't believe it when looked at he receipt and realised what had happened! Also earned 786 points.

Then went to speak to someone about the OOTW that I bought the other day that had headband and 250 points voucher missing and they completely sold out within three hours of me buying them last Friday!! I said not huge problem as I was going to keep this one for myself rather than give as a gift but shame to lose out on headband and points. Manager then credited me with 750 points. This evening when I finally unpackaged the No 7 set, the headband and points voucher were stuffed down the back so that they weren't visible with the packaging on!! Now I do feel a bit guilty about this shop but also very excited, but I promise Mr B that I will spend tonnes of money in your sale so you don't have to worry about goin the same was as Woolworths!

P.S: OMG...isn't the No 7 GWP just gorgeous...I must have spent half an hour gazing at all the beautiful bits in it today. Mind you it is an absolute !!!!!! to wrap in its display state...I ended up just getting a huge giftbag to put the one in that I bought for my auntie...she's going to love it though. Her and my uncle do lots of charity work and I've offered to make mens and womens hampers for the quiz they've got coming up in February for the raffle - they were thrilled so I feel a bit like Robin Hood...stealing (well, taking advantage of glitches actually!) from the rich (Mr B) to give to the poor(charities)

Sleep well one and all another Nuninge ramble over!!

ymc, Yes! if you can, go for it, the set is really lovely, I worked out the cost of all the items, and if you were to buy them separately it would cost aprox £80. Even the box is rather nice, not cheap and nasty like the GWP!
Would it be worth trying to boost your points with the JK files? to get the OOTW, you would need to buy 8 files = £24 get 3000 points! or if you can find an sel of £2, even better. My OH still can't get his head around this one! "So, let me get this right, they're paying you to take the files away?"

Godd luck lisa for the op, hope everything goes well any you are up and about in time for the 75% sale, those crutches could be a useful tool to get that last bargain on the shelf!

ccmummy - imaginary shopping is the best - all the fun, none of the guilt :rotfl:

If you mean the JK nail files then if you can find them, you can get a great deal.
For every 2 files you buy you get 750 points, if you buy 4 you will get 1500 and so on. However Boots put the price up to £3.00 on these but some lucky people are finding the old price on the shelf and getting them for £2.00 each. So mega points with little spend hth:T
    Clixsense since 31.01.16 $122.13 Neo bux since 31.01.16 400 RR $1018.00
Swagbucks since 27.09.15 £310 amazon gc, $50.00 Steam gc £100.00 paypal 2,805 points to cash out
  • O-M-G looks as though my mum has accidentally ordered 6 ootws! i check her emails because she doesn't do computers - my dad had tried to order 3 for her but was having problems with the boots site, so i said i'd order it on her account. Looks as though his first order went through but he didn't get any order confirmation

she's now got 2 despatch emails with different order numbers

    oops!

If this is the skincare one, lucky her as it wouldnt work for me! If you login I think you can cancel it, or give them a call!
  • I had 2 ootw in my basket plus another gift but when i checked out they went out of my bakset  has any one seen any in the east midlands? pm me. I'm Thinking of sending dh out in notts after work but think shops may be shut by the time he finishes work.

  • Haven't done any bootsing in a while (money troubles)
Been in Botts yesterday and bought top-up vouchers and didn't get bluey. It doesn't say on the receipt that I should have got it :(
They don't give them anymore for top-ups?
  • Anyone seen the OOTW in Telford/Shrewsbury area?
I'm desperate for one (or two!) and there were none in Telford yesterday...
 I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

Because they are nearing the end, they are available with every purchase (not just over £5 anymore). This means that the prompt doesn't come up on the screen anymore, so the cashier either just forgot, or perhaps they ran out of vouchers.
