Off Topic - our local Mall has just advised people not to go there as the traffic is gridlocked. One woman said she has been trying to get home for 4 hours!!!
I went to Durham city centre today and it was strangely quiet considering how close it is to Christmas. Apparently though, the out of town shopping centres were heaving and the traffic was terrible.

Visited Mr B's for some DKNY for a pressie.
Bargain of the day came from S*******g, there was a voucher for JLo Glow 30mls for £8.99 in the Metro paper. Our local had sold out of it so were offering Kylie Sexy Darling as a replacement, one of DD's favourites and a tenner cheaper than usual :D

My family live in Gloucester, so I've been to Cribbs Causeway before. Not for a while, though.
I'm in east London. The Boots Outlet is in Beckton and as far as I know it's the only one. I'm sure I read there was another one somewhere, but it closed down. It's not a huge shop, but all the bits in there are reduced. I think they probably ship in the excess stock from other branches that isn't selling. I got a nice Amazonian hamper there earlier in the year for less than £8-instead of £25. They always have lots of Sanctuary stuff and some Botanics. Worth a look if you're ever nearby. Next outlet is next door to it also.

I lurrrrve the Beckton clearance store. The No7 stuff is really cheap as well.:T :T
    VSP Challenge 2010 No 19 - £416.09 , 2011 No15 - £497.17, 2012 No9 - £146.52. 2013 No5 - £113.92

    SPC6 No1066 - Pot 1 - 3.03b. Pot 2 - 3.05lb Pot 3 - 3.0lb
  • Anyone looking for the OOTW in London, there were about 12 in the Holborn store (opposite Chancery Lane) at 7pm tonight. HTH

Hi all found out earlier today my op has been bought forward to tomorrow so no 50%/75% sales for me, gonna be on crutches for 6 weeks, at least get out of doing xmas dinner!!!

Hope all goes well for you lisa364 :) There will be other sales and glitches in the future to look forwards to!

Am still feeling under the weather with flu and think I have become immune to the wonders of lemsip. Was going to pop into boots today but it was heaving with people, so didn't bother...so no more pre xmas bargains for me.

On the positive side, I did manage the razor glitch with extra xmas gift, the Ruby & Millie 3 4 2 xmas gift - pinky trick, got lots of extra points and picked up many tips from you all, on this thread. Have enjoyed reading all your posts and helpful tips. :)

:santa2: So would like to wish all you Happy Bootsters A Very Merry Christmas and an even Merrier Boxing day Sale!:santa2:
