  • Yes it is, I'd say they were safe for another year but might start getting a bit manky after much longer. I'd use them for birthday and cheer up pressies. My friends always laugh at me as I've always got a hope you feel better soon pressie in the wardrobe...

Thanks, wasnt sure and overdid it in the online sale. Should have stopped after the first few orders lol.

Think the body spray sets will last longer than the Sanctuary/No 7 type ones so may leave those for nieces for next xmas and try and use the rest for birthdays and hopefully the school will have a summer fayre so I can always donate the rest before they go off.

unless of course you get the dragon SA I got, who swore blind they were a different product, then muttered that she was going to get the price changed to stop anyone else trying it on

Well in the Boots I went to the label in the nailcare section that said £3 described the files as 'buffers' which they aren't and on the JK stand the label clearly said 'Essential Emery Board £2' so I would have really argued the point on that one if they had got snotty!!!! Check the wording on the labels and this may win you the lower price!!!

I hope you put her straight when she said about trying it on - how could you be when the label was clearly there on the JK stand. it's not like you rummaged in the stock drawer underneath the counter to find the price sign is it - or did u:cool:!!!!!!!!!
    LOL!!!!!

Mimi get yourself a nice fluffy hot water bottle! I love mine and cuddle it like a teddy at night!!! You will feel nice and warm and it's surprising how much better you can feel with abit of heat!

I bet they removed the signs so that they didn't have to give the bonus points and the free bag!!!!

    Hope you feel better soon!

    Hi Flower,

Oooh no, hot water bottles are so 1990's darling! Besides my brother pinched the one we had when he was ill, never brought it back! Anyway, I had teddy on the pillow next to me, so it was OK.

If they still have those JEMMA KIDD free gifts, get as many as you can. I've a feeling they will pull the leaflet down soon. Like I said when I am better will check my local cos the SA's at that stand are super nice and lovely, who knows they might even let me have one anyway.

From where I am sat, I just think Boots are going to stop doing Jemma Kidd. I think they are just trying very hard to get rid of all their stocks. Don't think any of it sells without the points anyway so it's just taking up floor space.

Strange that the website puts one in your basket if Boots don't want this

I know, it's ridiculous but apparently online is a separate arm of the company so they have their own rules.

Ooh no hun, you can't beat a good hot water bottle and you can get some funky designs on the covers these days!!! Definitely not 1990's as still widely available!!! As long as it keeps me warm in bed I don't mind - that only applies to hot water bottles though and not men mimi!!! :rotfl:

I've managed to get 2 of the JK free make up bags and TBH they didn't have that many left on the shelf. I can't imagine anyone paying £8.81 for one anyhow! You might be right about them ditching JK as the JK stands do look abit bare these days! Might all end up on clearance!!!

    Bebebelle,

Have thought of getting one of those EA miracle gift sets in the red bag for £20. Mostly interested in the lip protectant. Is it worth getting???

    TIA
  • had a good shop today, and a massive trek !

Managed to find the OOTw in my third boots, RIVERSIDE NORWICH, they only had 2 on the shelf when i left though,

I swapped my fcuk bag for

    OOTW
    2x jk files
    ug shampoo
    bourjois sharpener

    Total = £13.xx (inc exchange)

points 924 (used 150 points from ACM on UG, £1 off and £2 bluey on UG, £2 bluey on sharpener)
